Sissoko on the wing is my most tbh. Would prefer Obertan on the wing, least he's a real winger, despite being massively out of his depth.

I miss the singing section greatly. Was up there for the season we returned to the Premier League, and had some amazing memories. The 4-4 atmosphere was electric. Even if it was a boring 0-0 or a defeat I always enjoyed my afternoon at SJP because of the fans and the noise they created. Was so much fun. Really wish they'd bring it back. The atmosphere now is pathetic, but I understand why.

Didn't he say fatigue wouldn't be an issue this season because of the UEFA Cup commitments not being a factor anymore?

Can't help feel he could have been a great striker had he not gone to Real. There's an excellent striker in him, I'm convinced of that. Suarez is on a different planet to him though currently. Attitude wise Benzema has always struck me as a Dimitar Berbatov type. Can produce world class stuff when he's up for it, but is a total liability when he can't really be arsed.

Think only Blackburn have a worse owner than us, tbh. They have totally obliterated their team and standing in English football. Even though the owner of Cardiff makes strange decisions, at least he puts some cash in. We just get the ridiculous decisions, with no upside or explanation.

Can see this game being very similar to the Liverpool 6-0 match from last season. Fresh off a derby loss, Pardew demanding a "reaction", and giving the fans something to cheer...only to be destroyed and humiliated. Another 4-0 loss at the hands of City incoming, imo.

His transformation is the most amazing I have ever seen. He literally can't do anything now, it's like having some t*** out of the crowd on the field. Bringing him on cost us the game, tbh. Was like being down to 10 men again.

Absolute nonsense, our attacking threat was pitiful. Annoying thing is, I actually think Sunderland played worse than us overall. Only difference was they brought on a striker capable of scoring a goal, we brought on an absolute shell of a man.

This problem, and problems we face later in the season can all be traced back to the summer of 2013. Why the hell did we think we didn't urgently need new players!?
