Agreed. Team selection was spot on today, and pleased it got us the 3 points. Also wanted to add, how great were we at closing down the play in the final few minutes? First time I've watched us defend a 1 goal lead and think "We're gonna be alright here". No nervy moments

No activity this summer puts us on a tight rope really. One long term injury to Ben Arfa or Coloccini will send us down imo. Not expecting another "French Revolution" in the next window either. Another joke that we have to endure.

They didn't play well. I actually thought that was the worst Man.Utd performance I've ever saw. Couldn't do anything right. Never looked right scoring all day.

Just switched on the Chelsea/Bayern game and listened to Jose's pre-match interview, and it's so refreshing listening to a confident manager. I know they're on a different level to us, but wish Pardew would speak in a similar way before a game, and not just say 'We will try to get past Morecambe"...

Thought he had a shocker last night. Easily his worst game for us. Looked very shaky, and it was actually Good who seemed like the first teamer full of confidence, whereas Yanga looked like a nervous rookie. I think Yanga is probably a better defender than Taylor, but last night he looked League 2 standard. Don't know what went wrong.

Really think that's his last game for us. Will be sent on loan this season, and sold to a League 1 team afterwards

Just saw the "tackle" on The Football League show, and it was horrendous. Decision was spot on. Shows yet again this lad is nothing more than a thug. One of reasons I hate Wigan. Hope they stay out of the Premiership for good.

Signing another top quality striker before this window closes could be the difference between survival and relegation tbh.

Problem is we lack options especially upfront.... I get Welbeck isn't all that but the alternatives are also mostly bang average. Tbh, I'd be picking Rickie Lambert ahead of Welbeck.

Should only be picking players on form, which would include Walcott. Just shown why he deserves to be chosen. Has Welbeck actually done a thing in this game!!?!?

Same here. Also on commentary, I still get goosebumps when I see Aguero's title-winner against QPR. Just an amazing moment, the perfect way to win the league. I miss Keys/Grey also. Especially Grey, as I feel Sky have had awful commentators since. When Tyler & Grey were on commentary it gave the game a 'big match' feel, and got you right in the mood to watch a class game of football.
