"Too many try to model themselves on Ronaldo" Aye don't model yourself on the hardest working player in the game lads

Both teams looks shit IMO

Being physical is fine tbf. Depends what you do when your team has the ball

Seems to be just a ban to try to send a message to players. He's been abusing refs all season, like a lot of players and they only ban him for two games when we're already promoted with two games left -
I thought he was decent, brilliant against Arsenal that time

Dortmund coming from 2-1 down to lead 3-2 hasn't helped my case mind Were getting absolutely dominated the bit I watched
-
His record prior to Dortmund, perhaps? Finished from 7th-13th in his 4-5 seasons at Mainz. Nothing exceptional "At Mainz" Now, take that information and put it into the context of the history of said club and their sporting achievements prior to Tuchel and you should have a different view on his time there. 9th and 5th in the seasons before he arrived, never got higher than 7th. Finished 6th the season after he left as well

Dortmund seem to have gone backwards quite a bit this season. Not sure why Tuchel is so highly rated exactly

Aye, it's the French players we buy that are the problem, not French players on the whole

Rio got 8 months for missing a drugs test, he didn't get a drugs ban. Same thing imo. Mental. That's the idea behind it isn't it? You treat the missed drugs test as harsh as a failed one, otherwise you'd just skip the drugs test. Nah I know. I think 8 months is fine. The original point was that 18 months for Barton compared to 8 months for a 'drug ban' is crazy, when it's not. The ban was for missing a drugs test, not failing one. Had he failed one he'd have been banned for a lot longer. Missing a drugs test should be treated the same as failing one IMO. Luckily the legal system doesn't. Pretty sure it does in athletics and cross country skiing etc. Could be wrong, mind. Missing a drug test equals an admission of guilt within the context of professional sports, IMO. Think you're allowed miss three in athletics. Think Mo Farah had missed two before the Olympics

It is much more likely to be a transfer ban than points deduction IMO -
He isn't a holding midfielder really, hence the driving runs into the box

Probably cos it's April

1 is surely not getting promoted territory

Getting into the Champions League is an achievement in itself like, obviously the money you can throw around on players and the players you can attract improves massively. The money of the Champions League isn't really that big anymore considering how much they get from being in the PL. I take your point about attracting players though
-
The big deal they make of the race to 4th is funny as well, given an English team hasn't looked like coming close to winning the Champions League in 5 years

Our best player in 2017 by a distance -
Yeah, their #8 marked him quite closely in the first half but he seemed to come into it more in the second. I think he can do a decent job in the PL but I am concerned about him and Hayden as CM when neither of them are that experienced or proven. There are times when our defence looks quite exposed. Maybe a more balanced left side would help as well. I think if Rafa has the say in transfers we'll get one experienced holding midfielder in the summer and then play either Hayden or Shelvey alongside him depending on the opposition

Mitro's shit finishing is quite endearing when it doesn't matter. Would also like to keep him as a backup option off the bench next season but wouldn't be bothered either way
