Don't think we'd loan him out in the last year of his contract, I'm sure the club would rather accept a knock-down price of a few million so they at least get something for him

Two or three nil I think. Having seen how easily Malaga carved our defense open and at will it won't take much from City to do the same. I know it was a pre-season game but it's not like that was the first game any of them had played for a while, they'd been back in training for a few weeks, played a few games and I can't see it massively improving in the space of two weeks. Williamson and Janmaat aren't gonna make much difference. We might sneak a goal if City lose concentration toward the end.

Agree with this, I see all this talk of getting yet another striker and wonder what we're gonna do with them all? I think it's almost certain we'll only be playing a one striker system with de Jong behind, that leaves you Cisse, Riv, Chucky and Ayoze + new striker all competing for one place. Then Gouff, Armstrong etc. as well I think a big part of the problem is that our defense plays so deep that there is a massive gap between them and the midfield and they end up just having to play oofball

Unless Santon is injured, not sure what's going on with him atm The only area of debate for me was the two holding mids, I think with any combination of Tiote/Sissoko/Colback you're gonna have the problem of moving the ball forward to the attacking players, you need a ball-player who can link the defensive and attacking units and I think the only player who could do that is Anita (Assuming a 4-2-3-1 which most people seem to have gone with)
