Do what? Sell some of the absolute garbage we've bought? I'm sure they will try aye but we might not be able too.
-
He's probably the only one who can walk away from the match with a bit of pride. Took his goal well and put his shift in. He's starting on merit ATM
-
I like him but I don't see what he does which can't be bought for much cheaper mind. He looks like a tidy midfielder but he doesn't score, doesn't create isn't defensively minded, isn't physical.
-
So you want him to clear out all the players he's bought and try again?
-
It's been a full season almost and it really is hard to fathom just how bad this lad is. A 55m Obertan. We needed someone technical who could invert and cut inside and maybe thread some through balls, instead we got a mistaken ridden winger for 55m FFS.
-
You worked with the CEO Right? You think he won't accept this despite what Eddie has done?
-
Big AL reckons he won't be here next season and said he isn't convinced Gordon wasn't fit. Wasn't expecting to hear either of that from him.
-
I mean, I look at our central midfielders and I often wonder what the plan is in the final third, all of the ones we have offer very little (Bruno aside)
-
94th minute and they still press high. We have been beaten by a better side here, which is frankly disgraceful.
-
The players have to know his job is on the line? They want him gone? Are his tactics that bad? Like what is it.
-
I tell you what, it simply has to be better than this. I don't want to see the man sacked but fucking hell...
-
He bought this lot.

World cup soon boys. Slight injury

Depending how much we sell this summer it might make sense to take the loss now to get him off the books. Even if we get his wages off the books by loading him out the loan fee will not cover the amortization. Let's hope the accountants/management aren't asleep at the wheel (again).
-
No way he's got himself suspended and earned himself a little Jolly
-
I think he was CEO for in NY but I do concur. It's quite hard to compare such nuances, when the other side is a manager who won the clubs first trophy in 75 years.
-
Yeah I concur with this, although I did think the comments surrounding Howe were extremely naive in the grand scheme of things they are irrelevant. he also binned Silverstone who seemed to be stealing a living.
-
Good luck with that, I'm pretty sure they are already right on the edge of SCR and they have some players with lots or amortization left (mudryk, Enzo )

This part caught my eye and is huge if true. I was thinking how despite a mixed start hopinkson can be a game changer for us as it seems he's got a drive and a commercial nouse we haven't had previously.
-
Devastating news for the kid, wish him all the best.

Indeed but the points drop isn't the relevant part in our context. We need European football on a consistent basis, which is why such a massive drop off for us is an issue. City can afford to slip to first as it's just a bit of hurt pride they go again knowing they will be there or thereabouts with a world class manager who's done it all. Us on the other hand are back in the pack without that world class manager (no offense or shade here just being objective) with a massive budget deficit.
-
I hear you on that city were awful for about 6 months but they still finished 3rd. And the manager they have is one of the most decorated in the history of the game and a tactical innovator and this is where my heart wanting to believe meets my head And I get it, the flip side is individual errors, games thrown away etc but again as you do, I watch every game and often come away unimpressed with what I've witnessed. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way, I doubt any sincere fan wants Eddie not to turn it around and I do think sentiment would change if we saw some green shoots.

This floored me at the time.
