  1. He should be really good in a team which can counter press well and dominate possession. He's a very inventive creative passer.
  2. Bobb is injured isn't he? Also he seems like one Pep wants to keep.
  3. Despite all the hard work I've put in pushing to get back to full fitness, I need to take a little step backwards unfortunately, guys. Frustrating as it is for everyone out there waiting for my return & to be able to help the team, these shortcomings also upset & frustrate me more than anybody else. I will, and I am doing everything in my power to rediscover the best version of myself & finally get off this emotional rollercoaster, which I'm hoping 2025 will bring. Appreciate the patience, love & support from all those closest that know how hard I really work & how professional I always am. Callum
  4. Guys let's stop the Wood talk already. This forum and myself included were thrilled when Ashworth almost recouped what we paid for him. He wasn't the long term answer and we absolutely did the right thing in selling him when we could.
  5. If we've learnt something over they years it should be avoid Manchester United rejects. Expensive and rarely motivated to contribute and that's without including any limitations they have as players.
  6. Tosin is free, of course we did the right thing trying to sign him, that's not my point. My point is I wouldn't be trying to sign players for fees who will have no resale value. We've done this before and it's great in the short term but long term it causes issues. . I see the positives of him as a player I like Tomori but as I've said we need a philosophy and a blueprint and we need to stick to it. We can't keep buying safety blankets.
  7. Dont get me wrong, I'm not advocating signing the equivalent of Orsula for centre half, I'm more referring to a profile which is good now with room to grow and of course increase in value.
  8. I think it's crucial we sign players who can be resold personally. We already have a squad full of players with no resale value. Let's not speedrun the Man united time line.
  9. 27 in few days, we probably need a younger profile to be honest. Unfortunately we need to sign players with an eye on resale value we need to be consistently evolving the squad if we want to navigate PSR.
  10. Massively disappointed and also concerning. Boy we are now one injury away from being awful. Zooming out we really needed him to be fit and contribute or the ability to get a few for him. Now neither of those are on the table we are in a bind. Wouldn't be surprised if they extended him as we have a players out of contract and we will have to pick our poison as I doubt we can replace everyone in one window.
  11. I'm not THAT cynical, I do believe they want to win things I just think they are struggling to navigate PSR and instead of being bold and confident we have decided to complain about PSR at every opportunity instead. If everyone believes it's not possible to break the class ceiling we are pretty screwed mind.
  12. He turned us down in the summer as we wouldn't offer him what he wanted. His contract is expiring so he will likely want more now as no transfer fee is involved.
  13. Yeah I hear that, just not sure he's worth the crazy wages we already turned him down for. He'd be another player signed with no resale value which is really bad when you need to player trade.
  14. And how many has he scored in that period of time ?
  15. Yorkie, as I'm sure you know I'm in no way advocating for these stupid rules. I've been one of the loudest and most consistent critiques of them. I don't think this detracts from my point however, in order to work around these currant rules we have to be ruthless at all levels and trade aggressively, we need too notch scouting and can't afford to be "lazy' with our targets. When it comes to Elanga in particular it's especially frustrating as forest paid 15m for him 18 months ago we simply can't afford to be bag holders here. If we wanted him we should have bought him then. A quick note on PSR, luckily for me @The College Dropouthas taken up my drum and is not posting Relentlessly about it so I don't have to But what is clear is our revenue isn't high enough not growing quick enough, I'm well aware of the 50% YOY growth we hear from Silverstone but sadly our revenue in isolation isn't very relevant what matters is the gap to those above us and if this isn't closing we are obviously falling further and further behind. On a more general note if the club has a plan to catch up I'm either not paying enough attention or a credible one doesn't exist.
  16. Repeat after me. I do not want to hear complaints about PSR when we insist on shopping in the most inflated market in the world.
  17. We should stop crying the poor tale when it comes to villa too mind, we do have significant advantages which they don't have as well. Having a state sponsor is still huge regardless of RPT rules.
  18. Isn't nunes another box to box kind which is something we have in abundance already.
  19. He's probably on par with Eddie if I'm honest. Different styles obviously.
  20. Remember, the owners will sort it out no worries.
  21. If this is indeed the philosophy it's the correct one and what we should be doing. The amount of power Eddie has wielded makes me skeptical mind.
  22. So rat face is a big baby shockingly. He's spent his money and he will have his say.
  23. Yeah I understand it from his point of view however managers are medium to short term things where as we are desperately in need of a long term strategy. What is the philosophy of the club? What is our DNA? We've got so many things to do which don't even appear to be on the agenda.
  24. To be frank we need a manager who aligns with the overall vision, a lot of the issues we faced today are also relatable to the power struggle which occured over the summer. The strop thrown in Germany was quite eye opening and surprising.
