  1. Understand the sentiment but I couldn't disagree more. The financials have shown the club is currently unsustainable and a change of strategy is needed. If you accept this it's difficult to come to your conclusion when you put the sentiment aside.
  2. It's absolutely fascinating how without warning or notice the narrative around the purpose of these rules has completely shifted. Since our takeover the rules being required to stop a Pompey or Leeds narrative has been totally thrown in the trash and a new narrative about fairness and competition has emerged (despite the files being highly unfair and restrictive of competition).
  3. I actually don't think so, but in fairness they don't have access to all the data so despite how much they claim to know a large element of guesswork exists.
  4. I watched Bournemouth a couple of weeks ago and Rayan looked a talent,
  5. Yeah I mean id take these figures with a pinch of salt as they make little sense in a vacuum with SCR.
  6. We will be selling at least one of our stars this summer, that I've got no doubt. Probably Tino.
  7. I was just reflecting about how much shit these lot get, they must be absolutely mad to continue. They've invested so much money in to the club, it's actually astonishing
  8. 100m net spend realistic according to Kieran Maguire. These kind of things are kind of reductive though just need our squad coat to be within the rules. Still can't get over how bad our business was last summer from a financial POV.

  10. It's make believe but it's Chelsea and they always get away with it.
  11. I dont see a world where Elanga becomes a top 4 level player. His limitations make him a systems player imo.
  12. @leffe186 would love to read your thoughts about this appointment.
  13. It is but you can't outrun it and everything has to be paid. Wissa and Woltemade Wages + Amortisation is also over 20m per year each. And no we didn't pay upfront for our players it's true but unfortunately hefty fees paid plus high wages means our squad cost is high. From a financial perspective the business we did last summer was awful.
  14. I see a distinction personally but fair enough.
  15. Nah I doubt the media even report on it if he answers that plus it's better than the gormless answer he gave. Plus you can be extra petty want to try and drive that wedge? Fine your banned from these little get togethers in future.
  16. Option E. This discussion is about the clubs financials and that is what we shall focus on.
  17. To be fair, I don't think Anyone has processed to be certain things will get better if we make a change. Both sticking or twisting involves risk. The comments from the CEO definitely made me reflect in a different manner though. Especially as you always hear these people talk about "value". (We've not been good value this season for what we've spent so far on the whole). I also can't help but wonder if Eddie will be keen on selling his best players to have them replaced by cheaper models. His first taste of this was Isak for Big Nick and Wissa and let me tell you, it can't taste pleasant. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he thought he's taken us as far as he can.
  18. Fair play and I respect your opinion
  19. Depends where we finish doesn't it? Or is that irrelevant for you? From what was said yesterday it seems like we are about to undertake a bit of strategic shift, it's possible Eddie isn't up for it in that Scenario tbh. Edit If Eddie leaves, I will very much judge the decision based on the replacement. If we hire some garbage than obviously it would be a disaster.
  20. Im indifferent on him personally his job is to grow revenue as far as I'm concerned. I do think these comments are daft though.
  21. 12 days until our next fixture
