  1. This just incentivises it sadly. Multi club ownership is absolute cancer and a fantastic workaround to all sorts of rules.
  2. He should have been sold in the summer, I hinted it would be a good time to sell him given his value was probably at peak. Just hope we learn from experiences this season has thrown at us and push on next year.
  3. Na, he wants to leave so fuck him off. Just make sure we rinse them as much as possible and move on.
  4. Fucking hell, it all makes sense now. It was a massive thing at the time I vaguely remember.
  5. I’d imagine given his tenure and how much things have inflated in the football world they will be on the hook for more, probably a record for someone in that role. I think the disappointing aspect of this as far as we are concerned is how short his tenure has been, of course we don’t expect undying devotion but given his position for him to depart so quickly is a bit of a kick in teeth.
  6. Given it looks like Sir Jim will fine some pennies down the back of the sofa we will be needing a new one. Who do you want and why?
  7. Asking price, is the amount what’s been agreed with Ashworth and is as per our contract with him. Hope the get on with it and pay up so we can close this and move on. Last thing I want is for us to do them any favours though let’s absolutely rinse those cunts.
  8. Who cares what Ineos think, just refuse and make them pay. Once they pay he can fuck off. Absolutely no need to barter.
  9. In theory yes, the managers reports to the sporting director not the other way around.
  10. I wouldn’t worry too much about this tbh. It’s quite coincidental this kind of story breaks when it appears he’s off and not before. We just need to nail the replacement.
  11. It’s the world’s most potent virus. Literally grows stronger the longer it persists despite mountains of evidence about how disastrous it actually is.
  12. Money always corrupts sadly, now football is about hyper capitalism the owners rush in with the protectionism.
  13. Sounds like a fantastic excuse to me.
  14. Absolutely, I couldn’t care less if he leaves, my concern is who replaces him if we get an upgrade it’s a fantastic piece of business for us. It will be interesting to see if the owners outsource the job of finding the replacement again.
  15. Toney doesn’t make much sense for us imo, unless we are going to change system/ shift Isak out wide to accommodate him.
  16. It certainly makes them less appealing to me as well. I remember reading our scouting department had gone to positional based so we need a sporting director familiar with that or be prepared to rip it up and go back to the drawing board. either way, more major upheaval ahead of us, and if you were one of the many appointments made by Ashworth you might be prepared to go as well.
  17. Don’t Brentford have some sort of advanced data modelling aka Brighton?
  18. Lets rinse those fuckers and appoint someone who can take us to the next level.
  19. Nepotism central is the issue as it was with the appointment of Eddie’s nephew. also shows a distinct lack of both ambition. We need someone who has both a great contact book as well as experience competing at the highest level.
  20. It’s obviously a stretch to say his old mate from down south being his appointment but bloody hell the alarm bells should be ringing IF we were to appoint him. Literally putting the cart before the horse in classic NUFC fashion.
  21. Ornstein wrote it for the Athletic so I tend to believe it.
  22. I’m properly worried about this, I love Eddie but the club better not go and appoint his mate from Bournemouth.
