Bruno being way too high all the time doesn’t help mind, our defence is the slowest in the league so we always have a huge gap between our defence and midfield.
-
Burn shouldn’t be starting for us at this stage tbh.
-
Aye it’s mental how, you spend a bit too much 10point deduction. Try and ruin football - small fine you know who runs the show.
-
Send him back, not a reflection on him or his ability but I don’t think we can afford 35m for a player who isn’t ready to play.
-
So basically Fulham get him for free if they put him in the shop window.
-
We should be ok, if not we have commercial deals to bail us.
-
We can’t do anything until July also, it would be too late for them by then.
-
Multi club is so powerful unless the rules are changed. You can basically choose where to park profit and loss.
-
Not sure they will be, pretty sure Hall will complete in July anarl.
-
Rumour is a max of 3.5m all add ons included with a 40% of the future fee going to citeh
-
I think we do mind, it’s just the fee isn’t it? FFP hurts
-
Kobel from Dortmund well and truly passed the eye test.
-
Think we will still need one mind, it’s quite clear the club want to peddle Miggy.
-
Throw in a replacement for Wilson and I’m with you.

The fixed are easy and don’t require much effort or thought to be frank. I just don’t see a desire to do so, ultimately everyone wants to protect the position they have and weakening rivals is one of the strategies to do so.
-
Fucking hell, how did I miss little plucky Arsenal and Lego head the underdogs who have spend big since they appointed him. That being said, I still don’t think loosening benefits most of these teams, if you are them the last thing you want to do is give upstarts like us more rope.
-
Aye Everton maybe, but they actually have no money, it isn’t just a FFP thing for them. Uefa rule are interesting thoug but I don’t think they should be taken seriously, I mean PSG have never had more than a fine despite paying the most ridiculous transfer fees and wage bills. Neymar, Messi and Mbappe ffs

Clubs at the limit: Forest, ourselves, Villa, Man United and Chelsea. Votes needed to pass a rule change: 14. So, 9 more votes needed to change the rule. I don’t see it happening and would urge you not to get your hopes up. Don’t get me wrong, the rules are absolute dogshit, the only things the current rules do is protect incumbents which is exactly why they won’t be loosened imho.
-
What makes you think changes will be made? And what kind of changes do you expect?
-
Ready for Conor Gallagher and Mcsauce? Jokes aside, I think we are due a bit of refresh, let’s hope whatever sacrifice we make is enough to push us to the next level.
-
I’ve read worst from them a lot of could shoulda woulda stuff (they name drop Mcsauce as someone we discussed internally ) Also discussed the prospect of us selling Bruno and Joelinton this summer to fund spending. Commercial deals to be announced soon supposedly (makes me wonder if we are actually over our FFP and we are going to leverage commercial deals to bring us back). and this summer will be busier than last.
-
Athletic have a piece up about our window for those that care to read it.
-
They weren’t taken seriously before Everton, also the Covid losses which they could include definitely kicked the can down the road. The rules now have teeth so obviously the behaviour has changed.
-
It’s not strange, the clubs who make the market and inject liquidity all aren’t allowed to due to FFP. money circulates and it has to be injected somewhere unfortunately the rules prevented that in this window. To be clear; it’s not a lack of money issue that has prevented spending this window, it’s the rules which means you blow the budget your getting points docked. Ultimately, if the contraction was to continue for multiple windows then yes, a lot of clubs would go bust but the situation will ease in the premier league after July 1st.
-
People who say the bubble will burst have been saying it since the formation of the premier league, they’ve been shown to be inaccurate thus far as revenue continues to grow.
