Is it possible / legal for him to buy back shares now they are tanking?
-
All these diamond formations with Shelvey at the base are hilarious.
-
Club basically didn't play him in order for the trigger not to happen Surprised he actually has a case honestly. He was still paid a weekly wage in accordance to his contract. An option in a contract is surely an "option" and nothing more.
-
Unfair dismal? Didn't his contract expire and we didn't renew?
-
This is where I am too, good post.
-
We've seen nothing to suggest he's brilliant yet like.

I disagree I think the gap between our central midfielders and centre halves is huge it's like a chasm either we press as a team try to be compact, Shelvey is prone to pressing at stupid times which leaves our centre halves very vulnerable. If we had more tactically aware players this wouldn't be an issue though...as they'd all either press or not collectively. Another thing, players would slot in to cover if they had more thought I agree in part but I don't think that's universally the case, England tried it for years with Gerrard and Lamport and couldn't get it right, Arsenal also have struggles with this line of thought as well. As you said though Heza we don't have much choice given the other players we have available.

He will always struggle too, one of his main outlets is balls in behind but we don't have a striker capable of getting in behind.
-
He's brainless, Borini played for so many free kicks, any contact at all and he was over, and passback never seemingly learnt that lesson.
-
Remember when people believed it?
-
Not true. He looked very good on the few occasions dribbling through the midfield. It's something he has the ability to do more often. They weren't driving penetrating runs which he did, he will beat a man and lay it off. I want him beating a man and getting a shot off, or arriving into the box looking to get on the end of something.
-
Didn't do much Imo, it was the townsend of spurs, one trick to beat a man and that's about it.
-
Excellent at left full back actually puts in a shift. He doesn't the left side at all, he has to check his runs and cut inside which he doesn't have the ability to do particularly well.
-
His role has to be purely breaking into the box late and trying to score goals like a second striker. He isn't the creative type or someone who can drive us forward.
-
That's the thing he's deep when we have the ball and often not looking to create passing angles for himself to receive the ball but he's all over the shop when we need him to sit deep and the opposition has possession. He's really lacks discipline and I dont feel he's suited to playing centre midfield at all personally. I know some will want to see him play a more box to box role but he lacks the stamina and pace to get up and down Imo.

And some still concluded we'd had a good transfer window. Thick as bricks. We got some Brits in man, that was bound to change our fortunes. We lack fight and passion remember?
-
Not convinced by him at all, he does a lot of pointing but his own positioning is often woeful, be presses when he shouldn't and leaves so much space behind him. When he has the ball be often slows the game down whilst he figures out which long pass to attempt, great when they come off but when they don't it leaves players like Janmaat way out of position with Shelvey unable to cover the space.
