Nickson is a scout, the job scope of a sporting director is much more all-encompassing. If Eddie wants to choose which players to buy and we are ok with that then promoting a scout above him makes little sense.

That job is way beyond the manager remit. We can't have eddie popping down and making sure the u8 are pressing properly.

Absolutely, same issue with Isak right? I'm sure we would listen to offers for him btw but the money we need to do a deal is so much it's not possible.
