  1. Tiote lost the ball, then closed down the man who won it and we won it back! I've been preaching we should do this all fucking day. We haven't put the man on the ball under any pressure all day.
  2. I think if we are honest any good result we get is papering over cracks. The club is rotten from top to bottom.
  3. Nowt to do with players being s*** at all. Funny how these players weren't shit before Pardew got his hands on them.
  4. i'd have liked him here. only £4m wasn't it? too english, probably He's shit, players for Hull for a reason. Anyone in this league should be able to hurt you if given time on the ball.
  5. what a joke but thats what you get back when you sit deep, don't press and don't get right. Shocking defending as usual.
  6. We really lack a vocal leader in our team. the organisation has been appalling.
  7. Does it irritate anybody else when we lose possession and just trudge back? I'd like to see us be a bit more aggressive and at least try to close down the first man.
  8. This but I don't rate him all that highly personally. Just another chugging english central midfield who doesn't really excel at anything.
  9. Couldn't agree more It's great how Chamberlain takes a back seat and lets them both get into a good debate.

    Papiss Cissé

How long can we put up with his bad form though? Gouff came off the bench and scored surely he deserves a chance in the starting 11, it would also give us more flexibility as he and Remy could interchange positions.
  11. Can do aye, but we need to start it at about -£200m so it could be a long one. Aye the fat fuck is going to make us for his mistakes.
  12. We didn't really play through Anita yesterday hence his lack of touches also he pushed forward quite often which I prefer he didn't personally. He does the simple things well and I think with Remy, Ben Arfa, Cabaye & Sissoko playing ahead of him keeping it simple is all we need.

    Graham Carr

The Clown who hosts 606 was trying to pile the credit on Pardew for our signings. (Ben Arfa etc) It's quite shocking how poor most football journos are in this country
  14. Cabaye worked his socks off for me, He wasn't involved too much in the actual build up play but we were pretty direct today and got the ball forward quickly to try and exploit space in behind villa. bar Krul, I've got no complaints about any of our lads yesterday they all put in a shift and Krul can be forgiven he's one of the best keepers in the league.
  15. That explains where Papis was today
  16. So gents: Bale & Ronaldo Vs Messi and Neymar. Who do you choose?

    Alan Pardew

Pardew got it right today fair play to him. Personally speaking the only Villa player who I'd have in our starting 11 would be Benteke though
  18. IMO we can't afford to carry a player for 10 games. Although I think he's two one dimensional to be relied on as well. Sadly Poachers are a dying breed and he's very much a victim of this,
  19. Credits to our Fans as well they made more noise than the Villa lot throughout the game. I thought the good times we're back for Villa? But they only got 37K in 3k being us. Surprising considering they have such a highly rated up a coming manager with one of the best strikers in the league.
  20. Defo penalty, clear as day push. aye two handed push at that, how that wasn't given I don't know. Ben Arfa of course stole the show and reminded me why don't get mad when he loses it because he's capable of anything. And how much better is Hatem when he isn't playing RM in a 4-4-2/4-2-3-1, less defensive duties and the amount of times he got the ball one on one against Luna. Villas defending was suicidal at times Hatem one on one so often mind. Yes sir, I think he benefitted in a couple of ways. 1: He clearly had more energy due to the lack of pressing he did, He looked a threat and full of energy every time he had the ball. 2: The fact he was playing further up the pitch meant Villa had a harder time doubling up on him, this was compounded by the fact they also play a 4-4-3 and their 3 attackers didn't track back at all.
  21. Anita did ok, but personally i want us to play through him as his decision making is sold imo, I also don't want to see him move forward just sit and cover the players moving in front of him ala Carrick
