  1. Aye he wasn't interested whatsoever such a weird thing to chime on.
  2. Because we don't want to press. We are clearly managing our energy levels which begs the questions why did we spend so much building a squad. Is it Eddie needs his 6 months to bed them in before he trust them? Is it they were bad signings ? I
  3. They aren't and it isn't. It will not be assessed. That rule was created to stop us nothing else.
  4. He did aye, I mean he obviously didn't do much of anything second half or last season but he did press some when we were in our pomp.
  5. Isak didn't press half the time either. Our lack of press isn't because of Nick. It's clearly a tactical instruction.
  6. This is true buts also a large tactical issue of this silly low block we do. We invite pressure and have no outball so it just comes back at us. We need to get back on the front foot.
  7. Of course he has, he's an awful manager. The point being is if we hired Bruce tomorrow for example things would change as in they'd get worst. My overall point was changing the manager changes something, because if it didn't why would anyone bother. To add additional clarity to the overall point, Eddie as good as he is represents more risk to us as a club than most over modern managers because he is a control freak who wants control over everything. If I can hire a best in class director of football and a manager as good as Eddie, at a logical level this is the smarter play as im spreading my risk. Ultimately as I've pointed out previously we are all in on this project having backed it to the hilt with club record spend and reinforcing his position by having his nephew on board ( ) and letting him have a hand in who should be the sporting director.
  8. I'm not making an argument my friend, I'm stating facts. Heron is a canny lad one of my favourite posters despite often having a differing view, we had a canny back and forth awhile back and I shall not argue with such a canny lad. We post our views respect each others takes that's it
  9. Of course, plenty of managers out there who can come in and enact positive change. You watch us and you know what you've witnessed this season has been poor. Eddie is currently eating his credit but no matter what transpires in the future I'll always be grateful for him and he will go down as a club legend.
  10. Im not advocating for Eddie out here just a bit confused. Why do people think changing the manager would make no difference? If that's the case why didn't we keep Bruce? I know he wanted to be off watching the cricket but might as well have no bothered. Changing the manager will change something. (To repeat I'm not saying we should, as we shouldn't at this moment in time).
  11. I expect more of the same, I don't see the magic bullet and we've been worked out unfortunately. I think we will have a big decision to make this summer, unfortunately we've hired a no mark as sporting director and have built a squad for a style of play we no longer play. The club is lacking in competency across the board. The medical team is a shambles how many tiles have we sent players back on the pitch whilst actually have serious injuries? Eddie is probably a combination of burnt out and exhausted, he was in the hospital at the end of the season let's not forget and our recruitment team ... You've seen Elanga try and play i don't need to elaborate here. Ultimately our owners love to talk big but have absolutely no plan on how to achieve what they say, it's clear things just left to drift and that's why we are here, starring down the barrell.
  12. I thought this is why we went and bought squad players so we can rotate. Turns out I was wrong
  13. You didn't get the it's ALL isaks and Mitchell's fault memo and everything that's gone badly is solely that? Hang on I'll Pm you it so your fully aware.
  14. We've built a shambles tbh. But it's Eddie's Shambles we've built and this is a big part of the problem. I really hope he turns it around because as a club it's what we need. Ultimately we bet the house on Eddie and gave him the keys but this experiment is starting to look rocky.
  15. Even IF we wanted to replace him ( I'm not saying we should) We've hired a no mark from forest to do it. I have very little faith at present tbh. I think we lack competency throughout the club.
  16. I'm not sure but I hope he doesnt. Going out on a Sunderland loss would be as pathetic as that performance today.
  17. They are absolutely shit. It's why giving them so much respect in that first half is so infuriating. We wiped out asses with them in the cup not too long ago. Yet we show up today dropping on and parking the bus. It was pathetic.
  18. I still think your point was extreme but I get it. And to be fair to you that performance was nothing short of a disgrace and given you a full clip The actual thing in wondering about is why we look like we lack energy all the time, and why other teams who have the same load as us don't. I do wonder if our pre season preparation is poor, I always watch our training videos and then look like a massive doss tbh
  19. Sparing a thought for @Dokkowho might actually have keeled over
  20. We always do nothing against teams that do that. We knew it was an issue and our solution was Elanga. Again or problems chronic and Eddie is apart of them as much as I hate to say it.
  21. He was awful, no surprises after the news broke about not wanting to sign a new contract tbh. We are miles away from where we need to be.
  22. That's the alarming thing right. We fold like a pack of cards and it's a frequent thing. It's as if we won the cup and thought job done.
  23. Really becoming concerned personally. What we've been witnessing is so far from acceptable.
  24. 40m on our 6th choice central midfield. Canny work.
