And Rivière didn't make it? Yeah ok then.
-
Absolutely bizarre from the man. I'm half expecting his last presser to be conducted shirtless whilst he makes a last ditch attempt at camaraderie with the fans by proclaiming his love for "deep house" and a "cheeky nandos". What a sausage.
-
Imagine them begging the fans to come back and then promptly hiring Carver should safety be obtained by sheer blind luck. At any other club it would be inconceivable . . . .
-
What makes me laugh is that we all know for a fact that should we somehow manage to stay up - things will go right back to where they were and we'll carry on being ignored. Personally the club can go and swivel, don't ask for my help now when you've taken my support for granted for the last 7 years. Give a personal guarantee that Ashley will leave in the summer and I may think about coming back and supporting the team.
-
No they ain't, at least Di Marzio isn't as he's right more often than not and breaks many transfer stories. I don't particularly believe this one though just because of the sum of money mentioned, but let's not act like he isn't the most reliable reporter of transfers going Belgium journos now saying the story is bollocks.
-
Di Marzio and Sky Italia are serial bullshitters man. No player worth a wank is gunna wanna come here at the moment.
-
They should be going back to Remi Garde with the begging bowl out.
-
Let's have it right giving him the job in the first place was like giving a five year control of a fighter jet. It might be their dream job but it's nailed that they'll crash the cunt. We've crashed and burned boys.
-
Fuck me this is quite upsetting actually. What a cunt Ashley is. Getting sacked for being ill.
-
I've been sending him all sorts. No reply.
-
These cunts have their heart set on McClaren. Steve fucking McClaren. Months of "shortlists", links to some of he most exciting young, up and coming coaches in Europe and they finally set their sights on Steve fucking McClaren because Carr apparently knows him. What a load of wank. What player in his right mind is gunna wanna come here in summer? How the fuck can Steve fucking McClaren be any sort of selling point? Charnley, McClaren and Carr trying to entice Europes unpolished diamonds? Fuck me, it'd be like three weird old men trying to entice young lads into the local bogs with the promise of puppies. "Come here lad, there's a chance you might get fucked over but we'll make it worth your while". It's not like the can even promise a passionate fan base anymore - they've ripped the soul out of it themselves. The whole thing is a fucking joke. A Tuchel, a Garde or even this Jemez might have been a cherry to offer, with Steve McClaren though all were offering is a stale, crusty, white dog shit.

Dya know what, when we were shit by accident I didn't mind it, I almost expected it. Now we are shit by design though, it's probably the worst ever time for me as a supporter. I actively despise the thing I once loved and it's horrific. It isn't a football club anymore, it's a living breathing monument to one mans largess and disdain for his "customers". Fuck what now calls itself NUFC, fuck it. Burn the fucking thing to the ground with Ashley, Charnely and John "I'm a Geordie" fucking Carver all inside the cunt. They can keep it.
-
Carver should be given an old Tokorov pistol with one bullet and just be pointed in the general direction of the car park.
-
Carver. Jesustittyfuckingchrist.
-
In regards to McClaren - he took the Derby job to lick his wounds, has he really repaired his reputation though? He was mediocre to poor the last time he was in the Prem, a couple of seasons of continental football aren't gunna change that. Shit choice.
-
I'd like to think of it as showing solidarity with their patrons rather than "making money". Tbh they're probably rammed as it is on matchday.
-
It'd be a good start to see a rousing endorsement from the local press. It's been made pretty clear though that they know their place. . . . Cowardly bastards.
-
That little article George Caulkin wrote as a guest blogger for the site is absolutely sensational. I'd urge anyone who is unsure of what to do on at the game to give it a read. Unbelievably good, heartfelt and edifying in its approach.
-
You're not on ya own in that fear mate. I don't know what it is with out fans, an aversion to change, are we just spineless?, I really can't put my finger on it. Another fear of mine is that if we get 20,000 outside and 30,000 inside the local press will try and fudge the headlines showing "a majority" chose to watch the game. Things just aren't going the fans way at all in this and it's fucking frustrating as hell.

On one really sick level I'm quite enjoying the collective "I told you so" that we are all delivering in the boards direction, a drum we've been banging since they appointed Carver temporary/interim/manager in waiting/puppet. We knew he'd be a flop, he's a been an epic flop and still the board will appoint him giving a limp wristed reason why they've done so.
-
In my view critiquing Carvers management goes hand in hand with discussing how poorly the club is being run. The two are mutually related.
-
Very true. Mark Douglas in particular gets his arse out when he's called out on his pro-Carver bullshit.
-
It's absolutely spineless from them. Every article they write which glosses over the clubs current failings might as well be them spitting in their readers faces. They could galvanise a grassroots movement like Ashley Out - instead, they'll seek to marginalise it by limiting it's column inches. Disgraceful.

A thousand apologies if a thread already exists but I was wondering whether or not anyone else has become sick to the back teeth of their recent Quisling-esque reporting style. There seems to be a united campaign to get Charver the f***ing job and with articles like this "John Carver cuts a lonely and isolated figure on the sideline at the moment. The best that can be said last night is that he at least tried to conjure more from a squad that has been cut to the bone and left unfit for the purpose of competing at this level. He made some tactical changes, got a reaction of sorts and was incredibly unlucky with a penalty call that seemed inexplicable. He then suffered the indignity of seeing Moussa Sissoko, a man whom he had defended as justifiable captaincy material in the build-up to this game, see red in the second half for two moments of pure indiscipline" trying to absolve him of the blame for last night's toothless performance, it's all getting too much to take. Have they sold their arses for re-admittance to the press box? I think so............. They haven't been to forthcoming with support for the latest campaign either - it's all come a long way from the days of "P45DUE" and other attention grabbing articles. Much like a Game of Thrones, these fuckers would do well to keep in mind "the north remembers".

Youve watched way to many zombie flicks. I wouldn't disagree
