Anyone listening to it on the nufc app? It's a load of stop start shit for me. Same for saturday's game.
-
What a game. One guy sat near me stormed out absolutely raging after the 3rd Norwich goal went in. What an error!
-
Tiote can and does give us 2/3 of those aspects. Yes, even now. He regularly breaks up opposition attacks and shuts up the space in front of our CB's that has been gaping all too often this season.
-
Once he's match sharp he'll start partnering Shelvey regularly, particularly away from home. He's leagues ahead of Colback and Hayden isn't quite the finished article. He by no means 'bosses the midfield' like he once could but he excels at everything Shelvey doesn't.
-
This pleases me. Hope he can contribute this season.
-
Tiote did not get us relegated. We looked a far better team with him in the side at the back end of last season. He's not a first XI player now we're looking to control games but he's the best option we have in CM to bring on when defending a lead. Definitely a place for him in Rafa's rotation.
-
Promotion purely because unlike some I think failure to do so would see him leave and the good feeling around the club go with him. It would knock us back quite a few years. With promotion I can see Rafa staying and securing a trophy within 2-3 seasons.

There's still the odd seat free in the Gallowgate but you'll need to be quick! If you go in the Platinum Club go in the wing section nearest the Gallowgate. It's a bit cheaper and you still get the atmosphere. They're only single seats sadly and I'm after two together! The spot that's still available is the section furtherest left of the milburn stand, 'Platinum L2A' is that's where you're referring to? It's the last section before the small corner!
-
Decided last minute to travel up for this. Too late for Gallowgate end but there's seats left in the platinum club area. Is this worth it atmosphere-wise or should I leave this one as too little, too late?

Tiote could still do a job for a Rafa setup in the champo. Even though we do need to go at most teams in this league Rafa still loves to kill games off after we go ahead. Tiote is perfect for this, particularly away from home.
-
We have no goalscorers for this game. Matt Ritchie? Diame? Perez might have a little bit confidence back. We are not playing f***ing Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. And we are at home. I'm with you in that I think we'll win this. I was more pointing out why people wouldn't be too upset with a draw considering the situation we find ourselves in for the match.

Wouldn't say it is embarrassing as such, but generally agree. He's not shown nearly enough so far to warrant the excitement IMO. Hopefully he has a good season. I think it's primarily due to him being exactly what we've missed in the opening games: a link from midfield to attack. Our gameplan is crying out for him, which as hinted in a previous post is probably intentional in preparation for his return.

Boro look tidy. Mackems awful at the back.
-
So much this.
-
You think? As much as I agree with nearly all of this post, I'm not convinced Colo ever really instrumented anything. A brilliant defender in his pomp but never a leader.
-
Only non-local radio coverage is through subscription to NUFCtv or the official app I think.
-
Hurry back...
-
Need a substitute soon. Colback for anyone would do.
-
HT and we didn't concede!

Can you listen to NUFCTV radio on phone? Via an app or something? As the Web page requires flash player.

As much as Anita put in some good performances at RB last season, the sudden clean sheets were not down to him. It was mainly because Tiote started playing the way he can. Get him back in the team on Wednesday and our midfield suddenly has a modicum of self-confidence again.
-
He should be in the squad for Saturday if still at the club. Make a huge difference to the team.
-
Can't understand why we aren't trying hard to keep Tiote for this season. He is easily good enough to let us play Shelvey or Diame with him in a 2 man CM.
