OR, it could be a confidence thing.

He definitely should be, but they don't like sacking managers. He'll stay.
-
This club can fuck right off.
-
Hence the "poor man's" Yeah, the point stands. He's nothing like Hodgson at all. Come on! Unlike most English managers, both have been travelling abroad for work as well.

That's exactly like us with Lerner for the last five years. So long as we could cling on in the top flight, that was enough for him. 17th is a success for him. Other than the fact that Ashley is also, as a person, a massive, massive c*** (which I don't think Lerner is), their reasons for being involved in the game are the same. All that CGAF / slopey shoulders / just don't get relegated attitude drips down from the top and permeates both clubs like a leaking f***ing toilet. And that is precisely why the rest of the league, let alone fans of teams in other leagues, want the likes of us and you (and Sunderland, for that matter) to get relegated, because as much as it is always funny to see big names suffer, both clubs have contributed absolutely f***ing ZERO to the league for years. Check this out, for example. This is our CEO speaking, yesterday, a day in which we've completed our 19th game without a win. How can you even begin to deal with people with this attitude? f***ing hell. Sickening.

McClaren is a poor man's Roy Hodgson. Somewhat comical figure, seems a good geezer, hasn't won anything in many years, in fact not that into winning football games.
-
Aye, absolutely the same for me.
-
Wouldn't call Wijnaldum a gamble. Highly rated and could have gone to one of the top clubs.

In that thread he linked you yourself seemed to laugh at the notion that we could possibly get relegated if you have a look I laughed at the fact our target should be "avoid the drop". Ambitious I know. A graphic came up from sky sports asking, "Will NUFC avoid the drop?", and your next comment was "Avoid the drop FFS" which seemed to suggest that you thought we would do much better than that Didn't everybody think that back in August? Our squad is not very good but we shouldn't be in a relegation battle.

Fuck. Shit. So fucking tragic. RIP. Toon legend. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/03532/pavel_3532232b.jpg

This. Yep. Someone said it elsewhere too but when was the last time we had a manager capable of moulding a team to be more than the sum of its parts? SBR and a brief Keegan stint probably. Other clubs have managers who can do it but we seem to go out of our way to employ managers who need perfect conditions to be able to put a f***ing team together. Chris Hughton did a fine job. We had a great team spirit back then.

Colo is a weak and tired old man who should retire ASAP to maintain some dignity.
-
Colo, Mbemba and? Dummett Dummett isn't a CB. He's not a left back either. He is. But not a very good one... Dummett is a centre back. He's certainly better than one of our centre backs at the moment. He has never been a left back. Agreed.

How come you hate them? Insignificant 'meh' club in my book...
-
Sign a CB and a CM you utter plebs.

Perez has to start.
-
Awful news. Get well soon Pav.
-
We definitely had enough chances to win it, but overall the performance wasn't good enough.

Do explain. Not starting with Mitrovic, Ayoze and starting f***ing dickhead Colback yet again. Doesn't really need highlighting. How does that constitute him being a coward? We'd won the last the two games with the same starting line up. We've not scored a single goal with that forward line in the last two games. All four goals have been after the introduction of Perez. Most of us agree Perez should've started. It was a poor choice, but the "coward" bit is yet to be explained as de Jong isn't exactly a defensive hard-worker.
