    Everybody's reporting it now
  2. Aye, nailed on after Carvers post match comment. Sad thing is, from the current crop of players, I don't see any other candidates. Jonas de Jong Janmaat Krul all better candidates
  3. It's different in London I'd guess, surely a lot of people at the non-league clubs in Newcastle are NUFC fans?
  4. Would be a bit hypocritical Aside from that, good post.
  5. At the time, yes, but not many years later we were flying with SBR at the helm and could have won the league. So I wouldn't say it was a turning point.
  6. Wouldn't begrudge anyone wanting to start a splinter club, I empathize with the sentiment. But the way I see it, the club is under the curse of one man and he won't be here forever. Impossible to say for how much longer, but we will be rid of him eventually. Ashley could be here for 15 more years though and I'd like to engage in a club in the meantime. As I see it, a splinter club does not mean you abandon NUFC forever.
  7. I'm in. We should invite Keegan to be an honorary director or the like.

Jonas? Ah, he's back? Nice. Been off the grid for a while?

Go ahead then, it won't happen by itself. Apologies soopafan On a more serious note, I'm in favour of it, it's a good idea.

  11. If that is a true statement, then he has been told to say it which indicates to me that Carver is going nowhere - RELEGATION TIME!!! Yep.

Miles Starforth ‏@milesstarforth Can't see Steve McClaren coming in for the last three games. Too many obstacles. John Carver still Newcastle head coach, as it stands. #nufc Starting to believe this is the case. Down we go.
  13. Ian Baker @ianbakersport · 7 min Mike Williamson has issued a statement apologising for his sending off yesterday and denying it was deliberate #nufc “I would like to apologise to the #nufc supporters & my fellow teammates for getting sent-off during yesterday’s game." “There was absolutely no intent to hurt Jamie Vardy or get sent-off." "But I recognise that I should have been more composed and measured in my determination to win the ball." "Unfortunately, it did the one thing that I never wanted to do, and that was to hurt the team." “I will do whatever I can to help teammates prepare for the next two games & fight to get back into the team when I’m available. “I’ve had the honour to play for #nufc for five years now, and I can genuinely say that I feel privileged to play for this club. "I would never do anything intentionally to hurt the team or its supporters.”

This is the man who's abused fans on two occasions and got away with it Scott free. Yeah but he doesn't work with the fans on a daily basis. He can't just go back to his previous role and act like nothing has happened. All the noise we've heard is he will go back to his job and see out his contract. Ashley and untenable just don't go together. If it had happened in the middle of the season I'd agree with you, but we're in the midst of a relegation battle.
  15. This is the bottom line really.

You still drunk? We need someone in immediately and we won't get anyone better at this moment.
