Going to win now he's had his obligatory spooned shot.
-
Asking for it putting out daft predictions like that.
-
I'd take a point as well, but if we come from behind to get it. I don't want to see us dropping points from winning positions as much as we have been.
-
Raheem. You sweet summer's child.

There doesn't seem to be an explanation for why high feet are allowed when a player is performing an overhead kick. Watching Liverpool v Leicester and thiago almost took lookman's face off. Neither commentator or referee flinched.
-
Ah of course, I wish it was looked at as 'level' instead of 'brand' but it is what it is I guess.
-
You're not wrong, why is this ignored by most media I wonder?

Cried when trips free kick went in. Really needed that 2 goal cushion, deep inside of me

Love Joelinton. Calm af in midfield. Sloppy joe up top.
-
This is absolutely hilarious.

Shefki Kuqi still knocking about?
-
After some YouTube scouting, his feet look a little too big.
-
Lmao. We spent more on Joelinton under Ashley. All that has changed is our ambition.
-
With that structure still in place I'd have been happy with Chris Wood ?

Jeezing ma teets off

Almost came out of nowhere this one. It was all Dan Burn or tenuous LB or ST links.

Absolutely buzzing for this. Very smart and sensible transfer. There was talk before the window of the owners wanting a 'name' or a marquee signing, but I would take this every time over a 'down on his luck' hazard or ramsey any day of the week... an up and coming young playmaker? Let's go.

Ridiculous considering she's the type to deal with the Saudis no questions asked.
-
I'm trying to keep myself grounded to be honest - just in case it doesn't go to plan!
-
Nowt wrong with an opinion, but I wouldn't be 100% sure that we're going to be the next man city. Much better to temper expectation and be surprised right?
-
I agree, I really hope we get this one. If the player changes his mind that's understandable.
-
If what has been speculated is correct, and we're looking at structuring deals to account for FFP, and spend more later etc. This is the one signing where this should be disregarded, seemingly the most important player we can bring in for both staying up and looking towards the future. This is the player where we should be spending the full amount up front. If this breaks down due to 5 mil less (for example) than what Lyon want, or they're not happy with the structure, I will be disappointed with this, moreso than the Carlos deal as this feels like the ball is in our court to get this done.

We'll wait for the conclusions of Sue Gray's investigation first.
