I know most people on here are posting sensible opinions, but I cannot believe anybody would even suggest selling him. He's the last person I'd sell given his importance and the lack of fee we'd get. He's got to be our most disrespected player. He was written off by loads of our fans after that poor start to 2023 and the knives will be out the next time he goes 5 games without scoring.

They could certainly finish ahead of us because they're not a terrible team and we may struggle with Europe, but I feel like I'm missing something with the amount of pundits and journalists who think Spurs are going to suddenly do well this season. Their transfers so far only improve them slightly, they have a manager who's never been in a league that's close in standard to the PL and the man who seems to win most games by himself is likely to leave. Seem to be a lot of assumptions that every single player who underperformed at Spurs (and Chelsea) last season will suddenly get back to normal next month.

Don't really care about Cherki one way or the other, but is that Graeme Bailey ever right?
-
Absolutely shocking patter that some people find hilarious for reasons I'll never get.

Agree with this. What annoys me is that all of these terms seem to appear out of nowhere then get used by everyone all the time.

Offside should be if any part of the body you can legitimately score with is in an offside position. VAR gets 15 seconds to check and if they can't say for sure whether it's on or off, go with the original decision.

Have to say there are a lot of people (mostly on twitter rather than here) who desperately need a new hobby until August. Not healthy to spend the whole summer freaking out when we don't sign a player that we might possibly have been slightly interested in. It's still June and we've more or less made one excellent signing, others have made 2 at most.

Would actually be lovely if the 3 stripes on each side were both the same colour. So many dumb choices made with kits these days.
-
No doubt about it. Mount was Chelsea's player of the season twice (when they weren't a shambles) and I expect him to get back to that sort of form.

If it's possible for a club to have charisma, then Spurs are the most uncharismatic club in the league. Chippy wankers. -
He looked great before his injury. Would massively approve of this signing.

I think the ITKs (and a lot of the podcasters and self appointed mouthpieces) just have nothing going on in their lives, so like to delude themselves into thinking that they are an important part of the club. There are some who just want to try and milk the club for clout, but a lot of these people are genuinely mental and seriously need help.

Posted on a fake Ornstein twitter account. -
Loads of people on twitter seem to find this sort of behaviour absolutely effing hilarious for reasons I can't understand. I swear they guy he was pretending to be is pretty much never right anyway.
-
Same. He's done a good job and seems like a good bloke, but he's not really done anything that Neil Lennon and Stevie G didn't do. I would have been disappointed if we'd have got him in to replace Bruce.
-
He gets away with chatting a load of shit. Partly because he's a boring monotone nothing and also because of the Man U loving media of course.
-
Would be a decent Germany away kit but doesn't look like Man Utd at all. Sad the way clubs will just have any old crap as their away kit with no regard for tradition or history.
-
Love Bruno but he needs to cut this sort of rubbish out. Not the first time he's made a bad and needless foul in a big game, don't want him missing most of the Champions League games like Bellamy did!
-
Exactly. This is the sort of collapse that everyone kind of expected because it's happened so many times to them over the last 15/20 years.
-
I cannot believe that none of the top clubs (at the time) looked at him. Man U could have done with him.

Don't suppose Emery fancies doing us one more favour does he...
