Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

These people don't wait, they want success yesterday. Couldn't imagine them wanting to wait several seasons for us to catch up. And with Utd even at 4bn the brand is already huge. -
2-0 up at Old Trafford until 70th minute. Holding out for a 0-0 at Palace (restricting them to four shots on target, we had three). Also a 0-0 at Cardiff, where we had 10 men for half an hour—not referring to how supremely shit Kennedy played—had six shots on target to their one and missed a last min pen ( am referring... never mind). In between the above, we’ve lost 2-1 to Spurs (15 shots each), Chelsea (drawing until an 87th min own goal) and Arsenal (two shots on target each) at home and to Man City away. None of them unexpected losses, humiliating results, nor characterised by unmotivated ‘already given up’ performances. Forgot to mention Leicester. Probably most disappointing performance for me and closest fit to the point highlighted. Saying that, giving away a stupid pen at that stage was always going to make a tricky game very difficult. Personally, I think we’re just getting started. Just hope everyone’s head is on the game—those that matter, I mean. All that says to me is we are simply not clinical enough in front of goal where others are. That could be down to two things shit players or confidence? Or both? The Man Utd first half was a highlights real of how poor some of our chances on goal are and attempted finishing. Is this because most of the players have now switched their mentality and focus to the defensive aspect of the game? Have they lost their flair? Is it down to confidence? I wouldn't mind seeing Rafa let these players loose gung ho, a little bit like the bravery show in the first half at Man Utd, and let's actually see if this scaremongering about us getting thrashed by 6 or 7 is true, how will we ever know how good a side we are taking the game to oppositions until we have seen it? I'd like to see us have a go and lose by 6, just so I know and it's evident. Because I'm not convinced we would.

Heard he used to hang out in the streets while he was a signed footballer earning 6 figure sum. He's an idiot. Yeah a video was released somewhere, they had a house party during the day about 6 or 7 of them, playing loud music and pissing off his neighbours, it was alleged they had all taken extacy and decided to go out into the street and start dancing in the middle of the road in broad daylight, him as premier league footballer. His brain is in his asswhole

Is it a bit like Fifa/Pes/ FM on his computer. He knows what cunts he works under, so he sets the search to find all players under 5m returning nothing, then trolling through the free agents, but he's compromised with the wages of most of the free agents. So he targets loans but he's also fucked down that avenue as now everyone else lives in the modern world where wages are above 70kpw for a regular /average player he realises he's limited to One loan. Then he just thinks fuck this I'm wasting my life at this shithouse, I will just run down my existing contract and get some self respect back.

What made him spend so big the season he employed McCLaren? I can't for the life of me understand how he could trust McCLaren and Carr to spend 80m and relegate us, but not take any risk with a proven winner. He's never employed a trophy winning manager, and the only time he has one at his disposal he takes the piss out of him. If he spent big in January, if I'm Rafa I would still be off. The only way I'm staying if I'm Rafa is if I write my own contract up, not wait to be offered a piss take version of a contract. It would stipulate a transfer amount for each window and if it isn't met, Rafa can just walk with no shit behind him, basically if you want me here prove you do, you fat cunt. -
Manchester United 3 - 2 Newcastle United - 06/10/18

That's all well and good, but we didn't sit back. We defended when we needed to. Then they decided to actually play at a decent pace and throw 5 up front, while we lost 2 of our best players. Kenedy most importantly on the break. Atsu did a great job of giving the ball back to them at every opportunity. We could and should have been 4-0 up at halftime. EDIT: I misread your entire post. Please ignore me. I know I'm a boring tosser, but reading the full post does help. Thank god, it was getting embarrassing. Someone was going to talk to you about that. :'( -

Knew that was coming. They were a side wanting Mourinho out, they almost looked at times like they were deliberatly playing badly, we are never ever clinical enough with the absolute gifts we were given, from lame weak as piss free shots at goal to frigging air shots. They were horrific in the first half, and I did question if they were so bad it made us just look that little bit better, well the truth is yes Man Utd decided to show up after 60 minutes, and so did Newcastle. We need to eliminate this negative bottle job approach, ok it was difficult with forced subs, but we did play a more advanced game in the first half and it was effective vs three at the back made up of two midfielders, what do we go and do revert to negative bottlers, let's play for the draw? No stay on the fucking front foot and have some bloody desire to take on a wobbling side,a manager who is heading for the sack and a back three that nobody would have risked any other time. Seriously difficult result to take, we won't play a worse side all season than what I witnessed in the first half from Man Utd and we should have put them under much more pressure in the second but we didn't, not trying to pin the blame on any particular player but Diame should never be giving that free kick on the edge of the box to start inviting them back into the game. So pissed at this result. -

You have a pussy not a cock and you serve Ashley. -
FFS. How can you know know that there is no hope while Ashley is here. He sat there laughing at you today, man. Literally. Loving the mugs who still buy overpriced food & drink, before during and after the game. And the fact he's looking down on 50,000 shouting abuse but having no effect on him. The power is in the actions that our fans decide to use. Be brave

It's fucking gone crazy in here. I contacted TMG last week and begged them to take the protests up a notch and convince the protesting thousands not to enter, and as another poster says just keep it going week in week out gradually building the numbers, also plan a mass late entry on a televised game. But it's obvious you can't convince 50,000 to not turn up or go in all at once, they are the ones that have to convince themselves, the best way usually is by gradually building up numbers and the knock on effect or the way people copy their pals or are influenced by social media etc etc might just see people get on board for a mass boycott further down the line. Having some sort of Newcastle or media icon influence people to boycott might help, but I'm not sure if the TMG have any big influential figures on board, would be nice if someone as influential as Big Al could get on board but I'm guessing his BBC career might jeopardise any sort of involvement.

Would you rather we lost more matches at the same time? Because that's what Rafa's argument is. Its basically very similar to Jose Mourinho but with much shitter players. I'm sure there are plenty of Man Utd fans also still fighting for Jose, and others who find their football piss poor at times. The thing is Man Utd can attract a manager with a good CV and fund him. We won't do either with this regime. I can judge Rafa on not being daring enough and wanting to send a side out and have a go, but I can't judge him until he's been properly backed with players he wants so whatever his desired system is we could actually see it in effect, but it's likely it will never happen now.

Benzema would have been the full 25m if not more, even if that was remotely true even at that time. So what was Keegan supposed to do, sign nobody else? We knew back then we were in for Modric and Inler and Arda Turan. Some of the only names Keegan allegedly put forward. Nobody ever mentioned, Beckham Ronaldinho and basically the world's best players at that time, such a poor comeback. He is actually making himself sound more amateur and that just backs up KKs argument even more.

Newcastle United vs Leicester City - 29/09/2018 @ 15:00 - No UK TV

I'd be inclined to agree, but minus Ayoze and a fit Lejeune, probably(On Paper). But you never know your best side until players play to the best of their ability. Last season early on Shelvey hadn't quite hit the ground running and everyone wanted him dropped, by January there were still morons claiming he was crap and a bid of 12m from West ham should be accepted if press claims were accurate. It turns out he is one of the most vital players we have, and should no doubt have gone to Russia to represent England. So what do many of us know about our best team? -
I'm not totally sure, I think it was touch and go for ages, we were as much in the shit for most of the season than anyone else around us, any of 10 sides were as crap as each other, then between March & April we went on a four game winning streak pulling us right out of the shit and those 12 points were what made the difference as Swansea took a turn for the worse, I felt with them it was like us with McLaren, they messed around with Paul Clement for far to long. But in terms of us last season and this season, it's as you say down to the start being difficult, and injuries and players current form, Kenedy was in superb form when he first signed, Dubravka equally, and also the Lejeune/Lascelles partnership as you said is notable thus far this season. The lack of threat at goal worries me more this season. I just hope Rondon has it in him to get his first double figures in the prem, because under 10 goals in a relegation threatend side is a worry.

Does Big Al follow TMG on twitter? Be nice if he gave them some support or by following them back and getting some of his followers to take a bit of extra notice.
-
Why does Rafa needing to be sacked prove or help anything? If that's being said just so people will have a bigger reaction and then boycott, you may as well boycott now without the need to sack him to get more onside, boycotting now sends a stronger message and protects him. Do it once and if it goes well, the balls in the fans backyard.

If you really strongly about it, cancelling your ST is definitely the way forward.....BUT it's not an easy thing to do, I know, I've just done it myself. However, if you do this, you still need to get involved in protests against Ashley. Walking away and washing your hands of it, then criticising those who are prepared to get of their arses and do something is not acceptable.....far too many know-it-all's out there who think they've done their piece and everyone else is wrong. If you've got something to say, come to the next Magpie Group meeting and share your expert knowledge with others. Boycotting a live sky game is the way. It's not expert knowledge and it's not arrogance. It's just convincing all to do it, but if it was 1 game it's hardly gonna be a massive sacrifice. Nobody is criticising anyone who does something though, myself personally I'm not one for contradictions, so to attend a protest then go inside and take part in anything Ashley makes me question myself. There has to be a live sky tv game boycott imo. You're right but it won't happen. That boat has sailed a long time ago. 15/20 years ago it would have but not now. Ashley could sack Rafa next week and change the stadium name and strip and bring in wise as manager and nailed on there would be 45,000 there content and apathetic at the Leicester game. Our support has changed so much now and the majority through there lack of action or giving a fuck do deserve him But you are judging that with no factual evidence. There's an even bigger reason to get people's attention now that in the early days wasn't there, and that's social media, every fan has a phone in their pocket, they just need to be convinced not to enter, it only has to be for one game. TMG have a platform to advocate to those who I believe get the message, what they don't get is their addiction nufc, it's like trying to get of heroine. They will likely hate Ashley and support the protests but still go in without blinking.

?? on that page. But IRGWG and TMG have built a platform now, so they are better suited to convince.

I think a lot was said on twitter about the silence in the ground during the game. Im guessing the MG turned up and hoped the hysteria would continue into the game? But there seemed to be comments of the place being like a morgue.
