Do you think? It was weird because there were a few similar situations I mean yeah, Atsu is standing where he's been told to stand and almost all set pieces are rehearsed so it has to be. I don't really understand the logic behind i So are we blaming Benitez here, or Ritchie for not being defiant or using his brain at that late stage of the game? If that's how regimented it is with Rafas strategy, then he's fucking daft. And on Ritchie, If it's myself in a game, I would defy the manager and take the stick later, or the praise if we got someone on the end of a chance. I mean our goal came from a corner straight to a head, so it's extremely frustrating, and pissed most of us of I'm sure.

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

There's no consortium. There's no take over. The whole thing is designed by Ashley and his cronies for the low capacity, The gullible/naive. Keep buying into it and keep suffering. -
Just let the mugs who want to keep going suffer. I want the whole thing to be a total train wreck, and then listen and watch them scratching their puzzled little nuggets wondering why nobody is actually arsed the club has died. Because half the people who wanted to hit Ashley in his pockets got rewarded with 3 straight wins and a bit of take over bullshit for the sleepwalkers to rule everything as all good, and let's get behind the team and Rafa, Wake up call, Rafa is leaving anyway. All that will be left after, is a relegated steaming pile of overpaid champo players from 2 seasons back.

He's not the only one to blame, but he certainly has to take some of the blame for such staggering laziness having just came on the pitch. The attack should've been stopped earlier but if Kenedy gets back it probably isn't a goal. Yes probably leaving it for someone else to deal with though, just like Yedlin did on the first one. Like I've said further back in this thread, we are carrying half a squad with no footballing brains.

Bit gutted about that, but we fielded what I think wasn't our best available on the day. We have quite a few players that are thick as mince, decision making from so many over all is appalling. KI for instance, he looks nothing special, but he uses his brain keeps things simple and doesn't over complicate things, on the other hand there's at least 5 or 6 today lacking anything upstairs when it came to using footballing nous.

Blame Yedlin for hanging Lascelles out to dry on the first, also for having us play with 10 for over 30 minutes, but Jamaal was still shite on numerous occasions, including running a mile when he saw Jota tearing towards goal, he shit himself.

It is really alarming how so many of our fans, and local media, lack capacity. -

The sad thing is there are gullible people who buy this every time he says something or appears on tv. It's sad he takes pleasure in hurting those easily influenced individuals, grinning away on sky knowing full well he's playing the boycotters and January transfer spend. Sick to the back teeth of this cunt. -
Yep, that's what 3 straight wins does with fickle supporting ass wipes, 3 straight defeats and at the foot of the league, and the same idiots having a go would be giving full backing. There will be a counter argument for my theory of course, but it would most likely be the case what most of the hypocrites would do.

Surprised nobody mentioned Elias Sorensen to Rafa. -
This couldn't have gone worse for this lot, the complete cock up of their alleged coach trip and cancellation on the day,to coincide with 3 straight wins. I'm still behind their motive, but I just think hardly anyone will bother on the day, such a pitty. I wish they would push it back now to another fixture, but given their communication it will probably mess things up further.

Difficult to see how this plays out, because we have Lejeune also working his way back, Clarke playing well, Fernandez proving he's the one to take priority, Lascelles and Schar not far behind. Wish we had these problems in the striking areas.

Burnley 1-2 Newcastle United - 26/11/18 - post match relief p23 onwards

You always have a good chance when Joe Hart is between the sticks these days. But joking aside, it was a well deserved win, I don't think we ever looked in any trouble, and the idea to help protect Clarke by throwing Ritchie over to help double up on Lennon made sense, also worked wonders in attacks for diagonal balls for Ritchie with Lennon bewildered at times. -
