Would rather have kept Darryl Murphy.

He's scored against Man City, Spurs and Palace and he was fantastic in the first 60 minutes against Forest in the cup. So it's not based on 'f*** all', people just want to see one of our only talented youngsters given a chance after he's done pretty well in the pastl I agree with this. Before we got relegated Rafa started to use him, It was his unfortunate injury that kept him out of our championship squad which i guess potentially would have seen us not loan in Atsu, and his off field troubles with his well publicised night out brawl that has seen him go out of favour. If he applies himself he could get back into this side, I don't see Atsu as a threat to any winger to think they couldnt take that spot.

Serious question. Who will take that job? Relegation fight and probably no spends in January.

Dont rate Townsend like some do. I think those that do base it solely on the time he had here, the time he used us to get his career back on track and prove something to Pochetino and himself. (When he was here it wasnt like it was difficult to shine in a side full of deadbeats.) Like a diamond embedded in a turd. He hasn't really made a massive impact at Palace.

He bulked up in the summer, this has contributed to him slowing down. Plus the levels of fitness th CBs and fullbacks in the premiership are at is another level. Most have no fat on them whatsoever. As a striker in this league you are really up against it.

Any points away from home are good. Losing points due to a slight misjudged tackle is a pitty, he had a fairly good game up until he cost us a pen. I also feel If we had top quality fire power up top we could be a top 10 side no problem in this league, dicipline on the tactics appears to be there just short on a regular scorer. Address Gk,Lb, and forward positions and we will be a good side.
