O'Reilly is a really good player, if he falls down the pecking order due to all the midfielders they have, then we should be all over trying to lure him away
-
Mentioned this weeks ago, the whole summer will be about, Gordon / Isak / Livramento all leaving. There's months of this, and our NE Journalists will push the narrative all summer.

I like fender he's funny. ADHD behaviour, this is totally normal, attached to something that gives you comfort, passionate about things you love. Probably had things boxed off for years and is truly able to express himself however he wants right now, more power to the lad, too many 'normal' people wouldn't have a clue!
-
Yeah I don't think anyone is saying that, but in a business where you need to sell high, it's sometimes now or never, otherwise you're saddled with a player who leaves on a free, it all depends on how the regime want to grow the club.
-
If the region is 70-100m, even 75-80m is good. But in fairness to Eddie Howe, he's doubled his money, but turned a radgie into an U21 winner, first team England International, and completely helped in the players character and maturity. You'd expect a huge fee given where he was and where he is now, it's not all just about what is done by the player on the pitch, he's a totally different lad now.

I know the media need any old story for clicks especially on Sundays, but the rumours of 70-100m to Liverpool are impressive, surely we'd rip their hand off for that.

Sell Longstaff, buy the Rudoni lad from Coventry for about the same cash, you've lost nothing, and gained something.

We still interested in Roger Fernandes? Looks mint

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

Seriously fed up of seeing this thread bumped, I've just contributed. If its a summer of Jack Grealish, and Calvert-Lewin, I can't be arsed. -
Grealish can fuck off, no dickhead policy 😒

If Howe gets these results out of a 30yr old, he'll work wonders with Elanga or Madueke. Threw Barcola in, would love a mad bid for him, beats them all for me.
-
I don't want us to sign Joao Pedro, it doesn't make sense, not sure he's the right character given his recent bust up and he's yet another forward player who prefers the left side, also can't see him being happy not featuring when Isak is firing, we bought Will Osula and he needs to grow into that role. I do however see the sense in this lad as a right wing option that we need, absolutely behind us signing Elanga, I pray the Pedro rumours are just rumours.
-
Andreas Christensen not needed, we used to show interest in this defender quite a bit. Jhon Lucumi, just throwing a name out there.
-
Vanderson Monaco 23 and Munoz of Palace, but 29. Bellanova ? Tbh, we should be all over Vanderson even with Tino staying put, perfect cover with Tripps probably off.
-
Wondering if Mitchell may have recommended Vanderson of Monaco, if we did lose Tino it would need to be a huge fee, the only other right back I rate is Munoz of Palace but he's the wrong age, and recently signed with palace until 2028

Yes, Howe could implement the previous style that elevated Miggys game so much. The Bruno Trippier Miggy combo was a real threat, but we'll need to see it as Bruno Tino Elanga hopefully
-
I'd be buzzing if we got Elanga, I dont think he's worth over 40m but, saying that, his assists speak for themselves, without looking into his stats you'd assume Chris Woods miraculous goal tally would have been down to a lot of Elangas work and goal/attacking contributions. His 6 goals are similar stats to most wide players, however, you'll imagine Eddie Howe will raise his game and his goals. I just look at that season Miggy had under Howe, and if Howe could get such levels out of Miggy and now similar from Jacob Murphy, then he'll easily make a stronger winger out of Elanga.
-
This could makes Sunderland fans seem somewhat normal.

Al is far to passionate sometimes. The football was diabolical, I recon it was harder for Howe to win the League Cup, than for Ange to win the Europa League. It was always on the cards.

What are the odds 🤔
-
I'll bet £20 it's not a life

Same with that Paqueta, he's just an ok midfielder, nothing special at all. Wouldn't surprise me that they'd think he's worth like 80m just because Man City showed interest once.

Ait-Nouri is a superb signing for Man City, they've done some good business, im just curious to see if they all work out, with Ait-Nouri they have no issues he'll easily fit in, makes me wonder if Gvardiol moves to central defence.
