What are you blathering on about now? Nut said it was like Chelsea and Man City - I said it wasn't. As their squad is nowhere near as comparable. Nobody said it was a definite win. -

We've got to go to Reading, Brighton and Huddersfield. Id be more concerned playing them at home tbh. Yep. I don't think we'll lose to any of them away. Quite confident of us winning each one, actually. Do we still have the best away record in the country? I would guess we do- Im more confident away- i think the pressure gets to our players at home. We'll lose one like. Probably like Chelsea going to Man City, Liverpool and Spurs. You'd fancy them but law of statistics would suggest they'd lose at least 1 given they're all good teams at this level. It's not like that at all like There is a much bigger gap in quality from us to those three teams. Reading and Huddersfield ffs. Huddersfield Town that we lost to? We also lost to Oxford, are they Barcelona? Well no because they aren't the same thing at all. Huddersfield have beaten us this season and beaten two of our rivals in the last couple of weeks at home. We're a beatter team than them but I don't think they deserve a 'Huddersfield ffs' Huddersfield also lost to Cardiff and Wigan - so are they comparable teams? Comparing teams based on one 90 minutes is a completely flawed argument Joey. Our squad is undoubtably better than those teams and it's ridiculous to suggest otherwise. To suggest the gap in quality between us and Huddersfield is like Chelsea and Man City is ludicrious. Nut says that Huddersfield are a good team at this level, which they are. We know this because we lost to them earlier this season, they've beaten Leeds and Brighton (the latter which they dominated them) and that they're 4th in the league. That isn't based on 90 minutes, it's based on their results all season and their recent form against good opposition. Aye they are a good team at this level, in comparison to the dross in this league. However, their squad is absolutely no where near the quality of ours. How many of their players would even make our bench? The gap is more like Chelsea to someone like Stoke, rather than Man City. I know you cant handle being wrong Joey - but you are. The argument isn't how good they are at this level - it's the comparison between them and us and Chelsea/Man City. -

Absolutely did not Unless you think defending for your life by blocking shots is deserving of a point. They were the better team in the second half.
-
Great game that was.

Aye, Monk was definitely the one initiating the contact there. Leeds throwing their toys out of the pram.

Looks half decent Jesus does, doesn't he?

It's weird because our three keepers all have good qualities, but also a lot of shit ones. They all have different good/shit qualities too. If you rolled them into one keeper, you'd have a decent one. It's a position we need to strengthen if we go up imo, unless Krul comes back. -
What form is this? They've W2, D1, L2 in their last 5. They also just lost 2-1 to Burton Albion. Hardly inspiring form for anyone like I have no idea why I thought they'd won yesterday. Was purely going off that and their last 2 against Barnsley and Liverpool. My mistake. They are a team that either turns up, or doesn't and they have the ability to beat anyone on their day. They've had a lot more absent displays than turning up ones, hence why they are 18th. Agree though - keep Costa quiet and this should be a win.

Cant believe he's only 25.

His class is shining through, as we all expected. Love how angry he is all the time. -
Probably more due to the fact that our only other LB options are Haidara (who is selotaped together) and Lazaar (who Rafa prefers as a winger) than anything else.
-
His first touch at times is appalling, which is a big factor in him losing the ball so often. He either looks excellent in a match or completely pants, still a better option than Colback but he has lots to learn.

Aye, I thought that too.

Time to stop wetting the bed about Leeds/Reading/Derby/Norwich/*insert team with 3 wins in a row here* and now time to start about Huddersfield. Edit - Oh no Leeds are going to catch us again now.

Unreal when you look at it to be honest and is the reason why we will probably go up. We have had several key players missing in that time also and this week should be up to full quota and also let's be honest we have not played really well either. We have also scored the most goals in that time and conceded the joint least goals - crazy. This Our "bad form"... The only reason there is mass hysteria when we lose a match is because we are such big favourites to go up. The media and a section of our support sensationalise it as if we're in such a run of awful form. Over the last 20 games for example, we have only dropped 14 points - which is joint best in the league, along with Brighton. And that includes our "dreadful" period where Shelvey was absent and we couldn't win games. Factor into the match where the referee awarded the game to Forest and those stats are even more damning. In reality we've been in the top two for most of the season and have never looked anywhere near likely dropping out of it. We have the best manager and the best squad and the run-in will show that, where teams start to tire and we romp home.
