Well I suppose he'll get asked the direct question tomorrow, whether or not he'll be staying as relegation is confirmed.
-
Can't wait for this place to erupt when Lukaku scores a second half hat-trick and Everton win 3-2.
-
I'm just so fucking gutted as this will set us back years man. In the Premier League with a more than competent manager, more likely to be an attractive proposition to a buyer. But now, we'll be in the Championship stuck with Ashley and some dinosaur in charge. We'll not see someone like Rafa in the dugout for a long time.
-
Well, this is actually happening then.

Wow

Norwich 1-1
-
Watford winning

Fwiw Everton's away form is better than their home form this season and they've had a few decent wins away from home. Yes, I'm clutching at straws. Still no idea if I'm going to watch it or not.
-
Glad to see Mirallas playing as he can tear anyone apart on his day, he and Lukaku turning up tonight would be massive.
-
I've managed to make myself slightly optimistic tonight

Didn't Villa reject Rafa based on fan opinion? Was that not McClaren? Nah it was McLiesh http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/13793274 I am sure one of the Liverpool fans on here said that when Benitez was linked with Villa, their fans were not happy. It may have been nothing more than speculation in the media at the time (similar to our reaction with the current links in the media to Bruce). Aye, I remember a similar story like. Pretty sure it was when they hired Garde and Rafa was linked to it.
-
I'm not really sure what to do with myself today, all over the place.
-
Have we been linked with Hitzfeld yet? I don't believe that we might get a new manager until I see a report linking him with us.
-
What a West Ham love-in that was. Who knew so many people could love such a horrible club like them. We'll have Sky Sports News filming butterflies and pixies at Milwall next.
-
Everton is the arsehole of Liverpool and forever in their shadow, similar to the mackems with us. Nobody is arsed about them, absolute nothing club and they do nothing but whinge 24/7. He'll never go there, not with his Liverpool connections. The rivalry might not be huge but it'd still be a kick in the face to his beloved Liverpool fans.
-
Still not got any idea whether or not to watch the mackems game tomorrow.
-
Start of the season, Championship starts earlier than Premier League. Was going to go away and come back the night before Premier League starts, but had to move it a week earlier now.
-
I think they'll be challenging for the top four at least next season.
-
It's over, I'm sorry but it is. We need Sunderland to get a maximum of 1 point from two matches against two teams who are massively struggling at the moment. I'd feel more confident if the mackems were playing someone like a Tony Pulis team who would shut up shop and force them into the worst 0-0 ever. We also need to beat Tottenham, who even with their issues are a class above us. Not discounting Norwich, who could easily get the points they need to overhaul us. It would take a miracle for us to survive and miracles don't happen for NUFC supporters. I've already looked into hotels and travel to Championship games next year and started to arrange my holidays around the Championship schedule, so they cant stay up now like or it'll totally inconvenience me.
-
He'll do very well next season in a crap standard of league walking around doing whatever he likes. A return to PSV probably. Good riddance, bye, whatever. Not arsed in the slightest if he goes even if we stayed up.
-
He is much better than the Championship, people let their hatred for him cloud their judgement on his ability at times.
-
Newcastle United with Rafa Benitez in charge could potentially smash the Championship, go unbeaten and have a decent cup run. Sorry, nice things dont happen to us. Start thinking of chants for O'Leary.
