56 "chances created" - you could "create a chance" by passing a ball to someone who is stood next to you. I created a chance this morning when I opened a can of pop, there was a chance it could piss out everywhere. Fucking stats like that man You could reflect stats to show anything you want. Sissoko has been an embarrassment all season and most of last season too. The quicker he leaves this football club the better.

Is it to shirk responsibility though? Or is it a lack of ability? I have no doubt that in the case of Colback (Williamson/Saylor too) it is not to shirk responsibility, but they are just crap players being asked to play at a level far above them. Whack Colback in the team next year and he'll look like a competent footballer, because the Championship is probably his level.

Sadly, it is always the idiotic fans that voice their opinions loudest on the internet/radio/TV. Nothing worse than turning on the radio and hearing "our next caller is *** from Newcastle..." you just know that it'll be someone from the funny farm making a phone call just to have human contact.

Colback is the same as Williamson imo. It is not his fault that he plays for Newcastle, nor is it his fault that he continuously gets picked despite having a distinct lack of ability. These are footballers who play particular roles in teams set by the manager, since Rafa has came in Colback has been much more attacking and has been a lot better than previous. Under McClaren it seemed his role was to sit in front of the defence and play daft/boring/sideways/backwards passes, Rafa seems to have opened him up a bit more. His lack of ability under Rafa is still there, but he has been slightly better. I have a lot more hatred for someone like Gini, who has all of the talent necessary but frequently decides not to perform. There is no excuse to not turn up to matches on a regular basis, everyone is entitled to an off day but the likes of him, Sissoko, Colo etc. have been hiding for a majority of the season.

Official: Daryl Janmaat joins Watford for £7m

He's awful defensively, but quite good going forward. If you could morph him and Dummett, you'd have a decent player. Sadly, neither are good enough. I'd prefer to see Janmaat replaced than Dummett though, as I think Dummett would do a better job in the Championship. -
This. No idea how anyone can comment on his goalscoring tally this season when for 75% of it he was starved of service and playing under a clown. Under the circumstances he's done quite well and will improve. Starved of service? He missed a load of absolute sitters. If "a load" is now defined as one or two and "sitters" is now defined as half-chances, then yes. The amount of "sitters" that Vardy, Kane, Aguero, Neymar, Messi miss every game man. It only looks bad on Mitro because we only create two chances a game whereas those strikers play for teams that create 90 a game so their miss is a lot less costly. He's had an okay start to his career with us, actually wants to play for us and deserves the least stick this season.

Have people forgotten how rotten this bloke has been over the past two seasons? 4 good appearances in two seasons doesn't mean nowt, he is one of the sole reasons we are in this position. Easily replaceable and not worthy of playing for our club. Get rid.

Wanted Nigel Pearson? Apparently I'm "fucking ridiculous".

Just woke the mrs up to tell her, she's fucking livid.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Great news. He is one of the very few I'd like to keep. -
Would be more than happy for him to be one of the first names on the teamsheet next season. Providing he stays fit, the prospect of him and Townsend on the wings is great news.

Fwiw, when asked if he was staying he replied "I hope so".
-
He's going to stay isn't he? Get the GIFs ready!

Anyone else see Cisse sitting on the bench having a little dance to it? I'm pretty sure he was dancing to the chant because he didn't have earphones in. Every time I see Cisse he just looks to be happy to be outside. Looks like a real simple lad.

Well deserved.

9 goals in a team who has finished 18th and is one of the lowest scorers in the division is not a bad return at all. The play acting/temper is obviously an issue, but can easily be worked on. He's been one of our better players this year and deserves the least stick.

A bomb shelter under the pitch. -
MOTD completely ignoring their expensive plane
-
Spot on.
-
So according to MOTD:- - SJP was quiet - No decision for Rafa to make about staying - Newcastle are a team of cheats - Sissoko is a cult hero Hope Channel 5 likes is more.
-
He does actually twist his leg/ankle underneath himself, dont think he was feigning injury at all like as that would hurt.
-
MOTD man.
