Suspect package forces abandonment of Man Utd vs Bournemouth

What moron would even entertain setting up something like that? -
Super Al after his annual thrashing at Southampton:
-
He'll stay if Rafa stays, it is as simple as that.
-
What a waste of money that plane was
-
Gambling Jack had £5k on it.
-
I just fail to understand what there is to talk about. Mini Mike: "what do you want Rafa?" Rafa: *lists conditions* Mini Mike: "done. here's a contract. sign. see you in August at Burton" Simple.
-
Great performance but too little too late. All about Rafa now, the crowd were much better than I anticipated although the win probably helped along the way.
-
Played well before his stupid challenge, needs a good manager to sort his nut out and keep his thoughts on the football rather than allowing himself to get wound up. He was fouled all day and the ref made some poor calls regarding him but there are no excuses for what he did.

First time Lee has ever posted anything remotely good?

It really is the biggest point in our recent memory, whether or not this bloke stays. If Rafa stays, he'll potentially be able to keep a very good squad of players who want to play for him. The likes of Townsend will buy into what he plans to do and will be happy to knock around in the Championship for a year. We'll attract great players for the Championship and have a team all pulling together for a change. The changes he'll force at boardroom level will see us function as a football club, rather than the shower of piss we are at the moment. We'll average mid-high 40's in the Championship, have a team far too good for that level and a manager way above it. We'll comfortably win promotion and then he'll be able to build on the foundations already put down. Rafa also loves a cup run, so we'll forget watching our side limp out of 2nd and 3rd round ties against average opposition. The thought of all of this against any other option is sickening, we simply must keep hold of him.
-
Is the play-off semi home leg included in a season ticket? Or do you have to buy a ticket to it as if it was a cup match?
-
I was only going off what the commentator said to be fair, he's got 2 goals and a few assists. When he came on it looked like they use him as a target man sort of style. He held the ball up quite well and got a few good flick ons. Other than that though he didn't get involved much as the game was pretty much over when he came on.
-
I'm looking forward to going to Burton, fair play to them for what they've achieved.
-
Ivan Toney just came on for Barnsley - could potentially be seeing him a lot more for us next season. PS - he's performed well for Barnsley apparently
-
Lets be honest, Rafa was never going to turn round and say 'I'm definitely leaving' a day before a home game where the crowd could be (rightfully) very angry at a relegation. Look at Watfords' pre/post match interviews for the past few weeks, Flores' has been very non-commital and said similar things to what Rafa did today regarding ongoing talks etc. I'm less confident after that interview then I was before to be honest.
-
I think he could stay, seems a decent lad with his head in the right place. Would be incredible in the Championship and a huge coup if we keep him.
-
Lucky for him we're in the Championship now then. Aye, I'd definitely keep him around next year. Playing him off Mitro could be a good combination imo.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inside-story-newcastle-uniteds-dismal-11330852 Has his been posted anywhere else? I thought it was a very good read with some good detail. Surely, if this is accurate - Ashley will be sacking Charnley very soon.
-
How unlucky can a side be to get four injuries in a game? Don't think they have a chance of turning that around, especially if all of those four players are out for the next game (which I presume they will be).
-
He was also about 17 or 18 in those appearances man ffs At 16/17/18 in reserve matches (or 'development squad' whatever it is called) and first team cameos you can get a pretty good idea of someone who isn't good enough. Our problem over the years is that we've hung onto these idiots and hoped they'd eventually 'come good' (Saylor, Ameobi 1, Ameobi 2 etc). From what I've seen of him, he'll do okay in the Championship/League 1. I just do not think he'll ever make it as a Premier League player.
-
Mitro is shit though because Barca has this Brazilian kid up front who looks much better.
-
Comparing Mitro to a £60m signing wonderkid and three players playing for teams who score and create hundreds of chances more than us along with being at the top of the league and winning more games. Give me strength. Some people shouldn't be allowed internet access.
