They needed Mitro there.

How long ago was it since he pretended he had been shot when handling the ball against Villa? Surely at that point, any normal club would have realised that this bloke is probably better suited to licking envelopes.
-
Cant wait for this time next week to watch Aguero to be the first player to score 12 in a game.
-
It's because they want to go straight back up as they'll struggle with finances due to being in League 2 again. He started well but only one point from the last four has seen them go 2 points outside the playoffs, they got smashed by Barnet at the weekend. Certainly a ridiculous decision, he turned round a sinking ship and they've wet themselves because of a dip in form.

Official: Daryl Janmaat joins Watford for £7m

He cares but he's still not very good. We could have 11 season ticket holders on the pitch who all care, but that wont keep us up. Sadly, he's also our best/only right back which isn't his fault. -

Has been awful defensively for some time, he's better going forward than he is defending - which is never good when you are a defender. Needs to go in the summer whether we survive or not, he's not good enough for this level and is at fault for a lot of our goals. -
Suited far better to a lower standard of football where he can do what he wants and be the star. Very similar to Depay.
-
He simply must start on Saturday.
-
Should be playing, you could make an argument any of our midfield should be dropped to accommodate him (bar possibly Townsend). Him sitting bang in the middle of the pitch dictating the game and leading the team would be much more constructive in this fight than watching Gini run around in circles without going near the ball.

Aye, we didn't need a CB at all like. Any CB who is even slightly more talented than the ones we have (which Mbemba definitely is) was needed. Lets not forget last season we were playing Taylor and Williamson. Mbemba is really not as shit as some make out, playing alongside Taylor would make Pique look woeful. The very few times he has been alongside Lascelles he has looked quite solid, he wasn't too bad alongside Coloccini. Even on Saturday, he made more last ditch tackles and blocks than anyone else. Without him in the side we'd have lost by 5 or 6.

Does this bloke turn up to training? How fucking awful must he be to not even make the bench in this fucking dreadful side?

Norwich's remaining games: mackems (h), Arsenal (a), Man Utd (h), Watford (h), Everton (a) mackem's remaining games: Norwich (a), Arsenal (h), Stoke (a), Chelsea (h), Everton (h), Watford (a) Realistically, will Norwich get any more than 6 points between now and the end of the season? I can't see it. Will the mackems get any more than 10 points from those games? I doubt it. Therefore 37 points would be enough to keep us up. On that basis, we need 12 from our remaining games. Swansea, Palace and Villa are all must wins with either Man City/Tottenham at home the other possible 3 points. It's a massive, massive ask for us to survive from here but not impossible.

The English clubs being competitive on any level (CL/EL) is good imo, I enjoy watching English teams in European competitions. I'd rather see Arsenal win the Champions League by beating Barca, Juve, Bayern than Leicester lose every game in the group stages next season and go out with 0 points. The finances of our game are fucked and have been for some time, in the current situation the gap between teams will grow further and further. Leicester winning the league will not change that.

The most important intangible hidden from sight among all of your projected/possible twists & turns, and number crunching, is that far too many of our players punched in their final timesheet quite some time ago. That part is out weighed by my blind faith and black and white tinted glasses. Both of which will be removed when I watch Sissoko try to stumble through 6 Swansea players next week during a 3-0 defeat.

You don't get to be 7 points clear with 6 to play without being a very good team like. Take the relative resources into account and what they're doing is absolutely sensational. Mentioned it before, but for someone with a username like 'Figures 1-0 Football' not to be enjoying what Leicester are doing is crazy. Might as well just go down the league, give the teams with the most expensive squads and biggest turnovers the top places in the league and just forget all about football. I'm enjoying the top of the league being very competitive, but I also like to see our teams be competitive in European competitions and I do not think Leicester will be next season. I'd rather West Ham (even though they are disgusting cretins) be in Leicester's position because I think their squad is much better and they'd be much more competitive next season in Europe. Seeing Real Madrid thump Leicester 6-0 in front of that Lego stadium with those awful clappers next season will be grim.

I think this is what I'm trying to say, probably not as well as you have summarised.

I'm not disputing this at all, if they win the league (or even finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th) - what they have done this season is incredible. My point is, the players in that team are nowhere near as good as everyone seems to make out. But surely even if they are playing above there stations, they're still playing well, and a player is only as good as his form, and if there form is good enough to have them top, then they are good players. This is the point I dispute, would Messi be a shit player if he went one season without a goal or assist? No, because he is awesome and everyone would know it is just a "blip" and he's actually world class. Imagine the meltdown on here at the start of the season if we signed Marc Albreighton, Wes Morgan, or Danny Drinkwater Playing spectacularly for one season does not make you a good player, good players do it year in year out.

People get far too lost in the romance of their story to realise that they are not a very good team There is a reason that they were 5000-1 to win the league. I'm not talking about their results, their form or style of play - the players in their team are not very good but playing far above their abilities THIS SEASON. Next season does anyone believe they'll be anywhere near the top of the league? the top four? even the top half? They'll be 15th-20th.
-
No way like Really? Take Mahrez and Kante out of that team and you are left with a relegation-battling side. They have players playing far above their potential because of the situation they are in, similarly to when we were 5th. We didn't have the 5th best team in the league that year, we had one or two class players and a load of average ones playing above their stations. The overrating of their players is unbelievable, they're really not very good Fair play to how they are playing etc. but nobody can tell me that their squad is any better than someone like Stoke or Everton. EDIT - a key point in this is the fact that they've had a settled side all season with no injuries or suspensions.

2 wins in the next 2 games or we are down. Man City look pathetic since they put their flip flops on in January, they made West Brom look like Barcalona yesterday. Even if Norwich beat the mackems, that'd put us 3 points behind them with them facing by far the toughest run-in. The mackems beating Norwich would be a disaster, as that would keep them up imo as they have the easiest set of fixtures. So many twists and turns left, people love a drama and giving up but in reality we are still well in this. Stranger things have happened this season. Although, I'll be firmly in the "we are down" club if we don't win next weekend.
-
How the fuck are Leicester top of the Prem There are about 12-15 better teams in this league, such a strange season.
-
A game I fully expected us to lose, that we lost. Once again we were shit for 45 minutes, then a little bit less shit for the other 45 minutes. Palace beating Norwich has kept our (very) slim hopes alive, we now need to win the next two (Swansea & Man City) and hope Norwich don't beat the mackems. We're absolutely shit, but we could still stay up. Completely undeserved if we did but stranger things have happened in football. The only reason I am desperate for us to stay up is the interest to see what Rafa could do with us. A Championship season could be quite fun, providing we come back up like. Which I don't think is a certainty at all in what will be a very competitive league next season.
-
If we won on Saturday then any result in this game would be a good one as we'd be able to close in on one or both of the teams. But sadly, we will get fuck all and fall further behind one or both of them.
