Just had a look at their remaining fixtures and they’re fucked like. They might win, maybe, 2 of them but it’s not beyond the realms of probability that they won’t win another game this season, really tough set of closing fixtures. They game away at Bolton in midweek is huge - if they lose that it’ll be another team they probably wont catch. They’ve already sacked their manager and bought in probably the most competent guy they could, which is usually their trump card in a relegation battle. It really is fantastic though, if it is trebled with us staying up and Villa losing the playoff final I’ll probably let Stifler hockle on me like.

They’ve won 5 out of 32 and would probably need to win 5 of the remaining 14 to stay up. Not a chance they will like, they’ll pick up a couple of wins and a few draws here and there but they are never turning this around.

Yeah, it'll move down to next highest who hasn't qualified though cups. So Arsenal could finish 6th, win this or the league cup and it'll go to 7th. They were questioned by police, so it’s more than getting drunk and breaking a curfew. WBA and the players will naturally want to downplay whatever happened. If the taxi part of the story is true then they deserve sacking, but WBA are not in a position to do that, plus with them being senior players they are of significant financial value to the club and they will want to protect that value as much as possible until they can atleast cash in. There’s no way Lascelles can go to the World Cup when we have Phil Jones who plays for Man Yanited, despite how utterly crap he is. Impressive that Maguire has been called up and probably certain to go, despite having a very average/crap season.
