A draw in Brighton v Bournemouth the best result for us?

Aye, it’s true Some shocking defeats in that run too. -
Fwiw I thought the referee’s performance on Saturday was the best we’ve had in a long time. Granted there wasn’t a huge amount for him to get right or wrong, but I agreed with most (if not all) of his calls and thought he let the game flow quite well.
-
It’s strange because I bet I could count on one hand the number of Man City fans I’ve met in day to day life, they are in short demand nationally as opposed to other top 6 clubs and even the likes of us, the mackems, Villa, Everton etc. who I seem to meet more frequently.

Even he is very inconsistent, more bad days than good this season. Absolutely no reason why we cant beat these today, a point would be okay but I’d be anticipating a win. -
Nope, but we've had one given against us that wasn't a penalty (West Ham) at least. That was a pen like. Its understandable it was given but if contact starts outside the box then by the laws of the game it's a free kick. Anyway its more about the fact that these marginal calls tend to go against us, whereas some of our rivals are getting iffy calls in their favour. No that's wrong. It's where the foul/contact ends where the foul is committed. Fair enough, I always assumed it was the other way round. Do you know if this is written down anywhere? Cant find much at all. Also, when it's a holding of the shirt, who do pundits etc always go on about contact starting outside the box in the case? Laws of the game specifically refer to holding: https://www.fifa.com/mm/document/afdeveloping/refereeing/law_12_fouls_misconduct_en_47379.pdf Not sure if the same applies to tackles, but I would guess so. It only relates to holding. The West Ham one was not a penalty, it was outside the box.

FlashScores get their data from Bet365 fwiw.

Very inconsistent but at least he tries to move us forwards.

Basically this.

I’m not saying we wouldnt be in this situation with Mitro, I’m saying we’d be better off with him in the side than without him though. No idea what evidence has been produced against that statement mind. If Joselu continues his scoring in the second half of the season, he’ll end up with worse goalscoring stats than Mitro in that season 2 years ago. Mitro is also a better player than he was 2 years ago.
-
Take down the seat number and report them both, club know who bought which ticket and where. They wont be missed.
-
The irony of all irony. Maybe you should try to bring something to the discussion.
-
Well it worked for us 2 seasons ago... I love how this is constantly peddled out to discredit certain players (Mitro, Elliot), when it completely ignores that 2 years ago we had Steve fucking McClaren as manager and the likes of Taylor in defence and a midfield pairing of Colback and Anita. If you want to hold individual players to account for the relegation, you should probably look at them first. Anyway, it’s still beyond staggering that Joselu continues to play ahead of Mitro and we’re going to lose out on a talented youngster who could easily improve. Joselu - 3 goals and 1 assist in 1370 minutes (15.2 full games) Mitro - 2 goals and 0 assists in 179 minutes (1.9 full games)

Our support was absolutely embarrassing today like, totally pathetic. What did they expect? A stroll in the park to a 3-0 win? We were the better side, created the better chances and if it wasn’t for their keeper making 2 great saves, we’d have won. We restricted Brighton to next to fuck all, defended well and looked good going forward. Absolutely pathetic to boo at HT and FT, even more pathetic to groan every time a pass goes backwards rather than forwards As for giving Darlow shit for slow distribution, has it possibly crossed anyones mind that as both of our keepers do it, maybe it’s an instruction from the manager - to allow ourselves to get back into our own shape and prevent a counter attack if we lose the ball. I personally thought we did well, but Brighton were well organised defensively and difficult to break down An okay point, providing it’s followed up with 4-6 points over the next two games.
-
Wouldn’t sell him even if we were taken over. We’re playing fucking Diame and Saivet in midfield ffs, are we going to bring in enough CMs in January that are all better than Shelvey? Not a chance.

If you can't see the difference between this team and that team then that says it all tbh. I mean we were already f***ing 3-1 down in that Benfica game So that just shows we had nothing to lose tonight. We couldn't afford to concede again to Benfica and had to turn it into a sprint. Tonight it was horrible to watch that first half and it was clear that we were going to concede and if it went 2-0 it was game over. I'm just not comfortable turning up to watch my team not try and win a match. No. It shows we needed to score twice against Benfica. Why would you set up defensively in a game where you need to score 2 goals? We started todays game with a point to lose. What are you talking about ‘if it went 2-0’? It didn’t. The gameplan worked and we grew into the game late on and could have got something.
