  1. He's deleted most of them. I'm not easily offended but there's a line and some of the vile stuff earlier has absolutely crossed it.
  2. Playing for 6 months with a view to a coaching role would be fine by me. Would still probably be quite a safe bet for a few goals in this league.
  3. That documentary about him on itv after the 2005 champions league final made him look like a small child in a man's body, even more so than most 'thick' footballers.
  4. Always liked Monk, would love him to pass Swansea on the way up just wish it was with a different team. Think he got a hard time there considering so much of their game plan was around Bony.
  5. Again there must be similar incidents in the past. Do the details actually get revealed after the charge is settled? Or do we speculate whether he's Hitler or not for the rest of his time here?
  6. Something was obviously said. It just depends whether it was misheard or not. What rhymes with any anti-arab/Muslim slurs? He's basically trying the Stan vs school bus driver South Park defence.
  7. So what about those Irish, eh? Can they be trusted?
  8. He's absolutely a £30m give or take a few million player in today's market. Wether that outlay would pay off or not is guesswork for anyone, but if you don't think that's the right ballpark you haven't been paying attention.

He's not awful, had his moments. Not top 4 quality yet/probably never will be though.
  10. A £10m defender, £10m midfielder, £10m striker (all of whom might be useless, we've seen it many times before) or £30m Sturridge who has shown he can score goals consistently even for a weak club in the premier league and would help raise the profile of the club even more in terms of which players want to join. The only risk is injury, but if he plays 3 quarters of a season he'll be well worth it imo. If he's available we'd be mad not to take the chance.

We're actually not playing bad football at times.

Diet has also. Should have given d/w a start Absolutely not writing him off but he's 24 next month, not some complete youngster. He's not rubbish but if I had to bet money where he'll be at 27 it'd be more on starting for a midtable team than a top 4 club.
  13. Easily the most naturally gifted like Would agree with that. I guess it's just semantics and different definitions, but for me 'talented' takes in the all round game and mental attributes, natural ability more those bits of improvisation and ability to do things skill wise just on instinct that others can't. Would say Kane's more talented overall and will more consistently be able to be a good focal point to a good team, but Sturridge can have those moments of greatness which really stand out. Not that Kane can't score great goals, he's done some worldies.
  14. Ah that's a shame. Of course reminds me of the great Bonucci story, if anyone hasn't heard about it: http://metro.co.uk/2012/10/21/juventus-star-leonardo-bonucci-fights-off-mugger-at-ferrari-garage-605336/
  15. It's all opinions but FAR more talented then Kane? Nah
  16. Sturridge is a far more talented striker than Kane imo like Nah.
  17. The thing to take away from that talk is that Carragher's a shameless liar for cheap laughs then?
