Well in that case, Malcolm McKay (probably too early and already well documented the oddness of the transfers), Gary Monk and Neil Lennon are all my front runners. All on low wages, all didn't earn a great deal as players, all connected to buying players from small clubs, where there is an incentive for agents to 'persuade' managers to look at certain players. Or for any other small way of boosting earnings.
