  1. Our fans do have very short memories, this team had only won 2 games out of 20 i believe, from December to April ? and now they have won 4 out of 7 and all of a sudden the mood is positive again, everything is rosy in the garden ... don't get me wrong I do understand why people went, I understand after the 14 or so months we have had, the thought of going to see a live match and all the perks that go with it, pre match pint, bite to eat, friends etc... but today, seeing fans dance and sing as we limped to a 1-0 defeat against the worst team in the league with Steve Bruce's big smug head, and the commentators slabbering about how the "fans are behind the team" and how we've "turned it around". In the years I have been following the club like everyone else I have seen some absolute shite, but some of the results and performances this year take the biscuit, Brighton and Sheffield United away where probs the 2 worst, then that quarter final against Brentford, a win against championship opposition, which would of taken us to our 1st semi final in 16 years, I just feel that what I seen today, from the stands, along with the news about the take over yesterday and the PL having until July now, it just feels like we're in for another summer of signing the likes of Jeff hendrick, then we'll come in to the new season with Ashley still in charge and Bruce still the manager, and it will be rinse and repeat, people sitting in the stands, just happy for a day out whilst the owner and manager are delighted that we have finished 17th, I look at man utd 2 weeks ago with their protests, arsenal had there's a few weeks ago to, I remember west ham fans invading the pitch, or the directors box a few years ago, and that made their owners spend money, the liverpool fans think it was 15/16 they were playing the Mackems, and they done a planned walk out after so many minutes due to ticket prices going up, and after that they stayed the same price, I'm not saying for the supporters to resort to thuggery, but I remember years ago there was no one better than creating a toxic atmosphere than us, I remember in the 06/07 season when we played Sheffield United on the Saturday, after less than 48 hours after we played in Italy in the Ufea Cup, when we where beat by Sheffield utd, and the atmosphere during and after the game was mad, when a few thousand stood outside calling for Freddy Shepherd to go, or the 07/08 season when we where beat 3-0 by Liverpool, the abuse directed to big sam was amazing, and of course the game after keegan left against Hull... Its just makes me sad now the way I feel
  2. Is it not the fans who vote for this ? Lol
  3. think that's the kit he was wearing when he made his comeback after his fight with cancer ? Maybe that's it's that particular Jersey ?
  4. 2nd last match i was at, we were brilliant that day and I won 75 quid stuck a fiver on Kennedy to get the 1st goal... great weekend
  5. It's both. Good news = The deal is still on the table and the final result of the hearing will be made public. The club also won on the fact they were allowed to make the most recent judgement public. Bad news = The club were unsuccessful in removing the chair of arbitration who they suspect could be biased. Additionally, the club lost when requesting the whole hearing be made public. Unknown news = If casting public doubt on the chair of arbitration will prevent them from being bias. The fact the result and some details of the arbitration hearing will be public should help prevent that. I'm far from an expert but the above is my high level takeaway from the clubs statement. Happy for others that are more knowledgeable to correct me if my interpretation is wrong. Thanks lad
  6. I've read it twice now still havent a clue ? Could somebody break it down for the halfwits of the group, is it good news, bad news ? And what's this about ashley on SSN thanks ?
  7. Always a gentleman, who handled himself professionalism and with dignity at all times RIP
  8. I would do unspeakable things for this to happen... probs most definitely bullshit however
  9. If it stays like that, miggys goal might just be the goal that sends us down
  10. Thsts exactly how I am aswell.... Thank christ I'm working
  11. Exactly my thoughts... would shove a rusty butcher's knife up my shite shoot to have him back
  12. All came from another ridiculous corner by that bald halfwit Sweet fuck
  13. dont know why but that photo gives me goosebumps purchased that Jersey on ebay in the summer of 2014.... it's a bit small on me now but some times I look at it in my wardrobe and just it admire it, it's just a thing of beauty in every aspect
  14. Kinnear’s management was just before my time as a supporter, so I’ll not rate him in that regard. In terms of direness of quality on the pitch: 1. Carver 2. McClaren 3. Bruce 4. Pardew In terms of pure, unadulterated shithousery: 1. Pardew 2. Kinnear (DoF) 3. Bruce 4. Carver 5. McClaren McClaren has to be higher up the shithousery list, do you not remember when Chelsea hammered us 5-0 he came on the tv smiling from ear to ear after
  15. Shit has to be hitting the fan now if we won he could of lived off the semi final till January anyway... season is over in next 2 weeks ... nailed on 3 defeats on the bounce in the league will see us move ever closer to the drop zone... then arsenal away in the cup as bad as they are atm theres no way were beating them.... absolute dog shite today, genuinely couldn't be true that klopp wanted lewis he is fucking dreadful, and longstaff is horrible really horrible,
  16. Taking a half day in work so I can watch this think it will be similar to the Oxford and WBA games away in the cup last year, think we will start well get an early couple of goals, then in the 2nd half sit back invite them into it, and spend the rest of our match shitting ourselves, going for 2-2 or 2-3
  17. Aye they're going down no question. Slaven is a character but he sets his team out like he's still in charge of Croatia. Think he'll get the push but not sure many managers could do better with that squad Read a month or 2 ago that they were looking to replace home with Lee Bowyer
  18. Did we not top the league for a few hours after we beat the mackems in august 2011?
