I think Rafa is the type you want to build a club from the ground up, I did get a little annoyed when he wouldn't let the team off the leash at times.. but laying new foundations and setting up infrastructure, I couldn't think of a better bloke.

Was a bit excited about Joelinton, ASM and would love to see Carroll score the winner away to Liverpool if he is fit.. cant really get excited about Steve Bruce, I think he is a dinosaur in the modern game.. still hope he does well. But Mike Ashley has absolutely fucked it for me like... can't believe some of our fans wont put pressure on him while he is down.

Bruce plays 352 and will probably change to 532 when it suits.. I doubt you will see Almiron and ASM in the same team unless subbed on late.

As good as Joelinton and Saint-Maximin maybe neither have experience of the PL.. Joelinton has only scored 7 league goals in a season before and St Max's highest in the league is 9. Add to that Almiron not finding the net yet.. the club are taking a massive punt.

Supposedly he made £900 million + from floating SD on the stock market and also stayed a major shareholder. So unless he has blown all that.

Did you see the match yesterday? Second half we played some really good stuff Do you think that was Bruce or the past three years of coaching drilled by Rafa? Both. It was drastically different in style/tactics in the second half. Very attacking. Only 4 teams scored more than us since Rafa was allowed to sign Almiron in January to play in his front 3 of Almiron, Perez, Rondon. Scored 2+ goals in 6 of our last 7 home games since Rafa built his front 3. Winning 5 out of 7 of them. And we were statistically the 7th best side in the league since Almiron signed/With Rafa’s 3 Amigos upfront. We also had the most shots on target against Liverpool of any Premier League that played them. The only boring thing about Rafa were the myths If Bruce persists with 3-5-2 you won't see Almiron and Saint-Maximin in the same team. Needs to play the same way as Benitez.. not having a front 3 of Almiron, Joelinton and Saint-Maximin would be tragic.

Biggest problem is Bruce supposedly likes 3-5-2 in which case either Miggy drops back in to CM or fights it out with ASM for the number 10 role just in behind Joelinton.

Bruce is not a tactician though, he's an arse kisser People saying on here and on Twitter Bruce absolutely hated ben Arfa ;D It wouldn't be Newcastle without added drama.
