Mine has gone up by £108 since last season. That's all I'm really interested in. For a bog standard middle of the table club £520 is about right, although still more expensive than many PL clubs for a seat behind the goal. £628 is a total piss take. An extra £5.68 per game?

Just done a predictions chart mapping the relative difficulty of each part of the season (based on opponents’ finishing position last year and whether home or away). Worked quite well last year (surprisingly). Three quarters of the season were reasonably accurate (predicted 40 points overall, got 40 points). Just the second quarter (9 games in Nov-Dec) let it down: predicted 11 points, got 4. If someone would be so kind as to advise me how to post a chart from Excel on here I shall share my clairvoyance for the collective enjoyment and/or ridicule

If he wants to be away, then fair enough. But I really liked the lad and thought he was going to be a world beater. Even though his later games/performances were patchy I got the sense he really backs himself and wants to be somewhere he is believed in and relied upon/will be a regular. If true, fair play to him. Not at all sure it is anything to do with his reported back problem.

Had same thought. Can’t see Rafa sanctioning the sale of players like Merino without a replacement lined-up. Can see him doing so if he thinks he can get comparable/better replacements, and perhaps generating funds to improve other positions (same re Mbemba and Skrtel rumours).

Seem to recall some early footage (seen years ago) of him as a very raw manager at Fulham trying to establish his authority over senior players/former teammates (talking of fist fights in the dressing room etc) was looking forward to seeing that again. Surprised it wasn’t included.
