  1. Watching in a manchester pub with friend and two of his Forest supporting mates. It's getting tasty!!! Howay the fucking lads!! C'mon!!!
  2. I was at the 0-1 and the 5-0, I've always said to people not there that we massacred them 0-1 and it felt to me like it was more one-sided than the 5-0. Anyone know the stats?
  3. Fool. Personally, heaping further humiliation on Johnson is fine by me, and shed loads of our songs (all songs) are juvenile at best and distasteful at worst. However, agree given the wave of disclosures which are coming out it is gauche to sing it now. And FWIW, I've always thought it slightly cringe worthy. What I took issue with was the assertion that singing this (a) in some way belittled/was unempathic to survivors of sexual abuse; (b) the glasshouses argument that we should shut up because our club is implicated. Personally neither makes sense to me. Apologies for assuming that someone of your evident maturity 'Hanskissedhispantz' (fuck kind of name is that) might be able to think clearly.
  4. 'We put the wheel back on, and away we went again, 'cept some that had their noses broke went back ower yhem...'
  5. Ha! Worst for me was central midfield City away... woeful. But seems to have picked up of late and maybe better suited to a central attacking role than on the wing.
  6. Has Gouffran played much as a number 10? (in place of Perez or Diame)
  7. Eh? We were one of the first clubs named. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/24/george-ormond That article came out the day after my post.
  8. Getting back on track time. Similar performance will equal a different result. Forest have W/D/L last three at home (Birmingham [currently 4th], Cardiff [23rd], and QPR [ 15th]). Hoping for and expect an empathic win: 3-0 (...particularly as watching with Forest-supporting friend: Howay the lads!)
  9. I wouldnt see the point of that. No, well he wouldn't see the point(s) either. Well, not for a while, at least until they were finished at A&E
  10. Haven't seen the game, but surprised on basis of what I heard to see Shelvey slated. He was a class above according to commentary. Result wise, it was one of those games. If we played them ten times we'd win 7. But we don't get a re-run. Don't take your chances and make a defensive mistake, both easily done (and regularly done by many times) and you don't win. Key thing to me, and to others it seems, is how we played, i.e. well. It is obviously different in a league rather than cup competition, play well constantly and it is highly likely you'll do well/win. Don't get the assumption that Colback provides something Hayden doesn't. I'm genuinely curious as to what that would be: to me Hayden does the donkey work (closing down, harrying, tackling--unlike JC without the use of both hands, or repeatedly falling over--and covering the ground to shut down options) but adds far more in possession. Maybe I'm biased as, amongst some tough competition this season, he is my favourite player.
  11. Lovely to hear 'Howay the Lads' brought out for an airing. Could hear the genuine pleading as well!
  12. Yup. Need to pack that s**** in. Why? Because raping children isn't funny? So people are equating berating a convicted paedophile in the most public humiliating way you can imagine as in some way belittling paedophilia? The conviction against a Newcastle coach is years ago, there may be more to come out. Berating a wrong elsewhere is irrelevant to this. You don't think it's in any way embarrasing that grown men are singing "f*** off Adam Johnson... you're a paedophile..."? Do you? Have you been to a football ground before? Go read some of the 'lyrics' to some of our other classics that 'grown men' sing. what sort of backwards f***ing logic is this like? I find vulgar and/or pointlessly offensive singing amongst bairns utterly embarrassing, regardless of how classic the songs are. Learn how to use quotation marks an all man, f***ing hell. Suggest you do: halfwit.

  15. did think he looked like a young more handsome Ruud...they had some good looking staff at Malmaison back in the day. Just saying, if his age is right, could be a bit of Geordie heritage there...
  16. Unlikely to win, yes. But with a manager who knows how to win and a squad peppered with enough egos desperate to show their premiership potential, and the size of the fight 'in the other dogs' maybe not being as big as the size of the fight in us (for the EFL Cup) I am, genuinely hopeful. HTL!
  17. 10 wins in a row, we've never done it before...maybe it isn't such a big deal that we throw in a dodgy performance now. I'm sure we'd settle for one in ten, if we could guarantee it
