Since when have the Makems 'adapted' (I.e. Stolen) our Geordie Boot Boys song?

Shite! That's been a real blessing this season. What a shame. -

Kev Ball and Micky Gray dreeyem teeyem. Can you imagine. Both of them together! The pair of them remind me of the spivs who used to sell towels & pans on the Quayside market in the '80s. Saw 'Bally' in Eldon Square, around that time... a missed Bishop Brennan moment I've often regretted.

Using my amazing powers of magical thinking and nonsense, given that our last run of four victories there (.com) were: 1961/62 won 1-0 Woods 1960/61 won 3-2 White 3 1959/60 won 2-1 Eastham, OG 1958/59 won 4-3 Franks, White 3 And our last two victories there were: 2009/10 won 1-0 Nolan 1980/81 won 3-2 Rafferty, Shinton 2 Obviously, the pattern is one goal less this time around (ahem), so 2-1 to us, defo, get the mortgage on it. -
do you honestly think you'll go for another sacking then? mental I do yes. It's cheaper to get rid of a manager and pay the compo than to get relegated. Our matchday gate receipts are poor. We'd be absolutely kiboshed if we got relegated. Short, more than anyone, knows this. That dapper chap Michael Gray, now rocking a fine® head of hair to complement his beautiful folded 'kerchiefs btw, seems to think it could be the best thing that could happen. 100% this. Mouthwatering prospect

Getting the winners of Bristol City v Hull or Leeds v Norwich at home would be a great draw for us. Would love Hull away for greedy personal reasons. Who's a lucky lad then!

In what has become a surprisingly difficult competition young Isaac is my favourite player by some distance. Does the selfless usually unacknowledged stuff for the team really well, when we haven't got the ball, and yet is also a threat when we have. So intelligent in his movement, often seems to be in just the right place to break-up play or receive the ball.

What a night for the lad! Really enjoyed seeing him dancing and interacting with fans and then grinning as he left the pitch; full of joy. The penalty pleading was embarrassing though. I literally blushed watching him. He also put extra pressure on Ritchie. He reminds me of my 7 year old or Gazza at a similar age (...actually, at any age!).

I am so tired and pissed and have such a full day tomorrow, but 'dislocated' from home with no one who gives a monkey's chuff about the toon to talk to tomorrow, I know I am going to end-up staying here too long and then watching You Tube footage of great days gone by. And I don't care. Loving being able to feel proud of the club again; and not just about results. HTL!!!

On a night like tonight, having played so little football, only one sensible thing to a add: "Ye knaa, knaa, knaa, nah-nah, nah-nah, nah-nah-nah. Nah-nah-nah-nah, nah-nah, nah-nah, nah-nah...Mitro's on fire..."

Just read through all recent comments and basically, without being too egocentric, you're all just saying same as me: "heed th' baal but love him" (ish). Let's just enjoy it lads: "Mitro's on fire, your defence is terrified..." [repeat until your SMILE hurts]. 'Wees like him? Geet few, and most o' them deed'
