No shots by either team according to BBC Sport (73% possession for us). Edit: we've got one showing now. 15 mins.... -

Sounds lively enough, but missed a trick introducing/announcing the new players (assuming i's are dotted etc.). -

31 goals in 44 games for Sporting (15-16). 9 in 31 following season (Leicester). Not sure how many starts though. Give him a run of games, play through and to him, and he'll score. Bas Dost, who replaced him at Sporting, scored 36 (in 41) for Sporting (16-17). He would have cost circa £40m (they signed him for €12m, btw). Basically, we're getting a goalscorer. -
here’s hoping we don’t even see it on highlights.

Slimani looks as happy as the Hoffs gusset. All going to plan. -
Christ he’s been out a while. Jack you’ve changed, man!

Marcos Llorente and Merino... very young pairing, but I would love to see that. Shelvey and Hayden would well have their noses out of joint though.

Last one for the whipper snappers, an image from a time your mam was (well might have been) hot: http://i2.wp.com/treviewsco.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Susanna-Hoffs-VS-ID40-2012-10-03-01_06_26-1.jpg?fit=359%2C359 -

Wanks? Still a Belle Stars episode to follow -
Dúbravka Lascelles Hayden Clark Yedlin Kenedy Merino Ritchie Atsu Perez Slimani With Hayden joining midfield when in possession. Lejeune or Dummett replacing Hayden, Murphy for Ritchie and Shelvey (sitting deeper) for Perez, against the stronger sides. Greater defensive barrier and more chance of hitting on the break.

Another sockless signing. Perhaps they just change their trainers everyday? -

I think you're missing the point, or I'm not making it clear. It's not about ability to earn post-retirement. It's about playing. The joy of it. Or at least the satisfaction which comes from being one of the best (OK, I'm reaching now ...). A professional footballer, in the top, top two, top three (ish) leagues in the country. Perhaps he/many of them have that kicked out of them through disappointment, stress and/or fan abuse/ridicule. I just think, would like to think I guess, that if it were me I would want to play. Just play, anywhere.

Not me like. Unless I really needed the additional money: gambling debts, building projects etc. You are a long time retired from professional sport. And if you're in the frame of mind that more inevitably makes a difference to quality of life and future security, then nothing is ever enough. Surely you can feather a nice nest with 30-40k a week, or less.
