  1. Klopp was never banned for doping firstly. Secondly, Liverpool's players regularly break down and they are regularly very flat in games which follow big games for them Klopp rotates a lot more too doesn’t he? Sure I read he was the only manager in the league to never play the same starting 11 twice in a row this season.
  2. Calling him shit under Klopp is a bit harsh, his first season he looked really good. Even last season he still managed 11 goals as a bit part player. Think he will do alright at Arsenal.
  3. It’s like a different sport
  4. Mental that people didn’t think he was good enough for us when we were linked with him.
  5. Talk of Liverpool paying ÂŁ17m to get Keita in this month.
  6. Stifler has a good track record of never fabricating stories so I’m willing to believe his recollection of that day 14 years ago above the photo evidence.
  7. Slimani is a target man. More mobile and better in the air than Mitro and Joselu but I'm not sure if he has enough goals in him. I think any striker within our price range is going to struggle in our setup though.
  8. Got 101, only decent week I’ve had so far
  9. Looks worse than Colback whenever I’ve seen him play this season.
  10. What is it you expect him to do? Order his defence to stop conceding goals? Get what we always knew was a poor strike force to start scoring freely? All he can really do is organise the team and hope they do their jobs. Don’t sign them in the first place because they are not good enough. Most of them were signed to take us out of the championship. This^ Anyone who cant see this is a bit special. So Joselu and Manquillo were bought for the Championship were they? Get your facts right first before you try and be clever. Joselu was a Murphy replacement and Manquillo was obvious cover for fullbacks. Rafa didn’t sign them with the intention of being regulars in the first team and their fees reflect that. It’s well documented he got screwed over in the transfer window and we didn’t land the players he wanted or spend the money he was promised so it’s a bit daft to judge this as a Rafa side.
  11. Playing decent but look a mess everytime the ball comes into our box.
  12. Ah the bloke who thought the curry house meeting was staged to sell papers and constantly slags off Rafa is now worried about RTG taking the piss out of a flag? Surely proof if you spend enough time on that site you become just as thick as them. How does that Nietzsche quote go again?
  13. Portugal won the Euros without him and I would argue that him getting injured helped them in that particular game as all of their players could focus on defending. I think Real would have won the CL without Ronaldo last season personally. Which two CL's could Barca have won without Messi? Eh? That was probably the best ever individual performance in the champions league knockout stage history. 10 goals in 7 matches. He was brilliant against Napoli and then 5 against Bayern, 3 against Atleti and 2 against Juve in the final. What both have accomplished is incredible and it's getting into silly territory when people start trying to diminish their achievements for either missing a match through injury or claiming the teams would have won the trophies without them.
  14. There’s games he’s come on off the bench and looked more knackered than those who have played the full 90

  16. I wonder how many of our players would make it into the starting 11 of any of the other teams in the league. Merino could get in a few but after that I’m struggling.
  17. Going to be a really tough day for Murphy on that side. Valencia is a machine getting up and down the flank all game from RB. Not the type of game you want to be thrown into when you’re low on confidence.
  18. The whole Anne Frank saga in Italy seems so bizarre
  19. Mendy is class at it too, i know he's injured now but still. I'm genuinely shocked more players don't attempt to get better at it, low crosses are absolutely horrible for a defender to deal with. Douglas Costa was great at them too for Bayern when he played on the left. You’re right though it’s something you don’t see too many players even attempt often.
  20. He got down really slow for the 1st but I think it looks worse than it is. When a shot is fired back across the opposite direction you're moving and goes through a defenders legs it's always really awkward. Thought Forster was worse for both our goals.

    Alan Shearer

Time to reply properly, firstly I'm a handsome b****** and secondly he is... a huge bloke, and has hair. The only thing we have in common is our passion and propensity to swear... he's a good lad though and I'm very happy for him, his podcasts are great. Loved the one with the Fear of 13 bloke and his Shearer one was first class. His sidekick though... air filler, drop him, he's obviously a Jonny come lately fan and supports f***ing Liverpool! The lad he does it with has really good football knowledge and is probably the one who organises and plans them out as he has a background in a lot of other podcasts. I’ve only watched a couple of TG ones so can’t really comment on them but he always comes across really well on anything else I’ve seen him on.
  22. That picture of Shearer and Ferdinand running celebrating together against Man U might by favourite image related to Newcastle
  23. Scored an absolutely ridiculous free kick the game Boro put 8 in against Man City.
