Kane, Bellingham and Foden as a trio just didn't work and it was painful we persisted with it the whole tournament. Even if Kane wasn't looking like a 40 year old league 2 player you need pacy runners around him not two players who are trying to play in the exact spaces as him.

Aye, I think it's a deceivingly hard job for whoever follows Southgate. Could easily see someone come in and have the side looking much more balanced and playing better football and getting knocked out in the quarters or something with a more difficult draw.
