It's ridiculous they are 6th with a negative goal difference, like They just seem to play with no identity whatsoever and he seems totally uninspiring as a manager. Just someone who comes across as very hard to get behind from a players or fans perspective.

That's actually a really good comparison Looks like the ball is stuck under his feet and he's stumbling over half the time yet also seems to just glide past players.

It hasn't worked out but I'm glad the players who had years of shite and then got us into the champions league had a crack at it. Easy to say Wilson should have been sold but he was coming off the back of a cracking season and was happy to be rotated with Isak which gave us a striker and backup better than the majority in the league too.

ASM was great to watch but he's not really a system player. He did try and adjust his game to fit and I think it made him worse. There's little demand for individual players like that with managers/teams focused much more on systems these days hence why nobody was really interested in him for a relatively low fee. He's in his prime playing in the Saudi league with 3 in 20.

Lost count the number of games I've watched this season with last minute winners for the side you wanted to lose.

Cumulative fatigue is still a thing, like Some of those players have played way more football than they should have this season and it's not going to be solved by having a few days off.

You're both good in your own fields. I'm sure Eddie couldn't be completing billion pound business deals. You couldn't do what-, well, you could do what he does, and I think he knows that. Probably what spurred him on.

We've signed Bruno, Botman, Isak and Tonali for a lot of money. I'm not sure where people are getting the idea that Howe just wants to sign a load of PL cloggers is coming from. Players like Gordon, Tino, Barnes, Pope and Trippier we've got for really good fees too. Don't think we'd have got better value shopping around abroad instead here. Overall are transfer business has been excellent since he came in and it's a good blend of foreign and players with PL experience.

Most teams would struggle having 3 CMs available for half of the season especially when one is a 17 year old kid who is 7th choice and the other is Longstaff. Not really sure what the talk about Eddie hitting the ceiling is about. If you're judging him on a run with half the squad missing rather than the top 4 form we've showed when he had options available I don't know what to say.
