We already don't play with a proper defensive midfielder so having 3 CBs staying back does make sense. Well that and we also had one of the best defensive records in Europe last season with that back 4 Burn did get rinsed today but he seems to get similar criticism even when he's played class.

Tonali is very quick. The midfield 3 with him and either of the Joe's would make a huge difference. The current 3 we are forced to play is leaving the defence exposed a lot, particularly on transitions.

Weird game. Both teams seemed to play needlessly frantic from the off was as if both were chasing a winner with a few minutes to go. Loads of overcommiting, rushing and taking risks in possession and no real attempt to gain any control over the match.

Liverpool are going to get every decision now until the end of the season, it's easier just to accept it.
