If he takes a pay cut there's no reason he can't move to fill the Krafth role. He has had a strong second half of the season.
-
If we sold Ramsey in the summer I think we’d certainly recoup most of what we paid for him, yes. Wouldn’t you? And that’s a complete strawman argument regardless. If Bournemouth sold Favre tomorrow they’d make a big loss on him. Why are you comparing their best signings with our worst signings?
-
What have Bournemouth Brighton and Brentford done? I wouldn’t swap any of our last four seasons for any of theirs
-
@Froggy how does it feel seeing this lad dominate Bruno F from the first minute
-
Where is there any indication he wants to do that?
-
In and around the CL spots all season ffs
-
Why on earth would you want to get rid of Schar? As a fourth choice CB he'd be the best you could get in the division.

Avoiding Chelsea and Liverpool is class tbh!!

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

This isn't true at all. This wasn't a shot from a tight angle. If he takes a step to his left he leaves the rest of the goal wide open. His positioning was fine. -
Hopefully can take over the Krafth role next season and save a signing there
-
He was diabolical tonight I can't decide what was worse, getting tackled while trying to dribble out of his own penalty area or slowing to a jog when clean through later on

We were in the last 16 in 2002/03.

Am I missing something? Barnes got an assist and had several good shots saved?

This lad has a long throw?!

What the actual fuck Willock.

I love big Joe but it absolutely was stinky business at the time. We were desperate for a goalscorer especially when Wilson was injured.
-
There's a bit of a difference from saying we are favourites to win to comparing them to a League One team like some posters have been doing, when they have taken points off Chelsea and Benfica.
-
Pope Trippier - Thiaw - Burn - Hall Tonali - Ramsey Elanga - Woltemade - Barnes Gordon Big Joe on the bench and not to be used except in cases of emergency.
-
They’ve beaten Benfica away, Frankfurt at home and drew with Chelsea. They are quite clearly much better than that.

He was getting slated on here a year ago as part of that 2024 transfer window. Tonali, Barnes, Hall and Livramento was such a good transfer window in hindsight.
-
I’d sell him for £60m. Either that or we need to completely remodel the team to actualy play to his strengths. It’s pointless otherwise
-
I’m trying to remember how it worked so well before. The personnel are still here, Joelinton didn’t play every game in previous seasons and it’s not as if Isak pressed much either. Yet the whole identity of the team has gone. And completely separate to all of the above is an altogether different problem that Woltemade is the exact opposite type of player that would ever fit into this sort of system.
