But i thought English managers never get a chance, these two bag of utter shite get them repeatedly. Well at least the standard of football will increase

The one hope I'm clinging to is we didn't spend too much in the summer because Ashley knew there were interested buyers, and was always going to sell around now. Not that really tallies with his Sky interview but I'm hoping that was it all the same.
-
Gareth Bale is smaller than i thought.
-
West Brom will be on a high, they just got an fantastic point at Spurs. This game is going to be a arse anyway, especially the form we're in.
-
Hope one of Everton's wayward shots goes through that window and smashes into his smug face.
-
I certainly do, doesn't stop one getting frustrated with him at times though.

You're assuming he isn't ? I take it you're assuming there's more to it than just not trusting him to stay on the pitch and not get a daft sending off ? Mitro is simply too much of a wild card for Rafa. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Aye, you could say the same about Shelvey but his face fits. I'm basing this purely on their abilities to get themselves in trouble on the pitch. If it was that, it does seem one rule for one and one for another. Then you add the Mbemba factor, a player who is a million times better than Manquillo yet he's not getting a sniff, and he doesn't worry you about getting sent off, again it seems his face doesn't fit. Rafa is superb but, and there always is one isn't there. Rafa seems to do things that hurt the team more than help it at times. Suppose he wouldn't be the success he is if that wasn't the case mind.

Elliot Yedlin LeJeune Lascelles Mbemba Hayden <-----Let these 3 rotate giving us good movement from midfield Merino Shelvey Ritchie Murphy (if Atsu isn't fit) Mitro Is how i would go.

Honestly why do people even think it might be true
-
I think it was Perez losing form and playing so poorly that brought the change. We have no other 10, something Rafa was desperate to buy. Personally i think we should have gone 4-5-1 for the last few games with Merino and Shelvey breaking from midfield with Hayden holding. Merino's injury stopped that option too though if it was something Rafa might have tried.

My god, that's horrendous :'(
-
Highlight was giving a free kick to them when Richarlison fouled Yedlin and then ran into Lejeune. Utterly dreadful ref. Nowt to do with the score though.
-
Absolutely, poor Premiership defender imo. Just one of those players who far too good in the Championship but nowhere near good enough in the Premier.
-
He must trust him a bit as he's brought him on before Perez in both of the last two, fairly sure it'll be Mitro given the next chance. Unless he goes back to one striker again. Can't see Joselu getting another go now, people are complaining about Joselu but then thought he linked well with Gayle during the last game. So its a bit hindsight hero. Rafa's clearly changing things about upfront to try to make us more potent. Merino's our best answer to most of it anyway. I'm sure he does ability wise, it his foolishness that Rafa won't trust. Throwing him on 3-0 down is a nothing to lose thing, same as bringing him on when we're winning. It's another thing to trust him from the start though. I hope you're right in Rafa seeing how he linked up the play and was so much better than Joselu, not sure but i really hope so.

Don't take this the wrong way like I never imagined you to be 6'7 I'm picturing Jaws from James Bond I dressed as him for a new years party last year.
-
Be amazing if they did, i mean Pardew got away with fucking murder lying through his teeth again and again without so much of a 'wait a minute Alan'
-
Not good today but i liked how annoyed he was getting, especially with his fellow defenders when they didn't show for the ball.

Good performance in a pile of shite today.
-
Trying to play Gray offside when Gray was running from his own half, was fantastic bit of boneheaded lunacy today.
-
Can't see anything other than Gayle up top with Perez off him as the 10. Mitro won't start as Rafa doesn't trust him at all, not in ability just the trust a manager has in a player. Funny thing is, Shelvey who's been just as daft starts, i dunno.

Lascelles being out has contributed to that massively imo. Aye, he's a massive miss. Clark and Lejeune just don't look comfortable next to each other. Lejeune i willing to give time to, new to the league needing to settle in it (he's been very poor last two games mind). Clark is what i've always thought, a very good Championship defender but the Prem is a step too far and he'll cost you in the long run. Lascelles seems to have taken to the Premiership really well and miss him badly.

Rafa has his faults & should not be above criticism but there is only so much he can do with this lot. Indeed. Picking Joselu and Manquillo and making Elliott number 1 goalkeeper however were not great ideas though. Not sure that was his fault as Ashley wouldn't let us buy a GK. It was always either Blob or Darlow, much of a muchness them two like. Krul. Seems strange now, hindsight is marvellous like. Although Krul was on the slide as well. Krul in a wheelchair > Blobby. As it stands i still think Krul is the better GK than what we have. Opinions i guess.
