I hope it's Howe mainly for drawings by Squires on him, they're mint
-
I reckon it started with him defending the tackle on Haidara by Mcmanaman, he acted like a right arsehole over that.
-
Whether Howe is good enough or not, matter of opinion i guess, but he's infinitely better than Bruce or any other imbecile Ashley would have appointed (Rafa and Hoots aside). I'm not going to stamp my feet we're not signing a big name, fucking hell a month ago it looked like a full season of 'well you knooow'. This is the start of something, and no doubt the new owners will make the odd bad decision, but we're in such a better place than we've probably ever been, even if it doesn't look like it right now.

I quite like Graham Potter, done it in a smaller league, then the Championship and now doing a great job at Brighton, but don't mind Emery at all.
-
One was me, it was supposed to be a yes but I was doing it on my phone, I turned into a total div and selected no I'm a definite yes fwiw.
-
We're going to get outplayed and stuffed.
-
That's the length of time he'll be able to put up with Levy for.
-
If true he got me, so well played
-
I think you're right, would be interesting to see his reaction if they do offer him the job again.
-
Not according to some reports, a tax issue was what i read.
-
True, but there were no guarantees a new manager would have got anything. A new man straight away would have been ideal, but as I think most of us suspect, they want a sporting director and manager in together. So if that's suspicion is correct that's taking a bit more time. Is that ideal ? Nope. Will it work ? One would hope so. All I know is, despite the delay I'm far more encouraged for the future. If I have to wait another week or two, I'm prepared to do that without going overboard with worry. After what's gone before, that's nowt imo.
-
I'd rather they took their time and got the right man. Ok that has meant possibly losing points, but would we have got points against Tottenham and Chelsea ? Possibly, but it's a moot point now. Get the right bloke, even if it takes a few weeks, not an issue in the long run imo if they get it right.

It is quite mad how some people see things so differently.

Perfect this, Ole will be thought of as good enough again......a run of wins......boom a stuffing by Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool. This will never not be funny.

I don't think you can judge it on the game today, of course you can pick apart what we did, or didn't do. What we should have done with the line up and tactics etc. We're an awful football team, we reflected what our manager was, an awful manager. But judging us against the best team on current form, and probably the best all round squad and all round football ability in our league, is probably not the best yard stick. In saying that though, we were terrible, utterly awful, a team who can't pass the ball 5 yards to each other, a side who create fuck all most of the time, but on the flip side, we're also a side with no confidence after being managed by an utter buffoon. Without new players we're down imo, but a new manager and a few signings we should get out of it, and even if that does happen it's going to be a tough fight. We need organisation, we need a system to create chances, a pattern of play. The long and the short of it, we need a proper manager now.
-
Well hopefully this will speed up the new manager appointment. We've been utterly woeful in all aspects.
-
Nah, not the 3 times I've checked.
-
While i don't think their squad is that good, i think we're under estimating just how bad our is. We're awful, aye maybe better than the league position says, but our central midfield is utterly dreadful and will relegate us if that isn't sorted.
-
Hahaha Man Utd are mad, he clearly isn't good enough, but they just won't admit it. Please let him win the next few games, so they think he's good enough again, rinse and repeat for as long as possible.
-
As we know Rafa is principled, he won't walk away from Everton. I'd personally want Potter, but i don't think we're looking in that direction. Fonseca, Favre and even Gerrard (OK, possibly a bit to prove yet) are far superior to the buffoon we've had to put up with, along with Carver and Pardew (who i still hate the most) who were just embarrassing and pathetic. It is strange turning our noses up at managers we would have semi welcomed not so long ago, it's a good feeling like.
-
Hayden, Longstaff, Shelvey, Willock it doesn't really matter with our CM's. For a long time under various managers, not one of them sits and stays in front of the back 4 or 3 offering proper protection and cover. So often there's no one sitting in there, it does my absolute nut in how exposed our CB's always are.
-
Aye I get what you mean, I suppose time will tell. Hopefully he'll stay as the team is built. There's so much to like about him, and not just on the field either.
-
I really hope Liverpool don't ease off and make it 6 or 7, that would be hilarious.
