I think it's pretty clear to most that it would be ridiculous for Wenger to sign a new deal. He completely the transformed the club, all whilst winning trophies at the same time but both he and Arsenal have needed to head in opposite directions for the last couple of year minimum. The fans are now starting to turn their protests into a hate campaign against him which should never be the case after what he's achieved. I'll be gobsmacked if they finish top 5 this year and even further so if he does sign a new deal after it.

Anything less than 2 wins in the next 2 would kickstart my promotion nerves.

Good to see Defoe back in the squad but then you remember that he'd be nowhere near it if Rooney, Sturridge and Kane weren't injured.

I love the bloke but I've said a couple of times this season that if you take away the results, the football and the style of it is horrendous and I was slated for it. As of yet, nothing has changed to make me think differently and Rafa comes across as the type of manager who isn't going to go out and set his teams up to go gung-ho just to please fans.
