  1. How can anyone actually think the crowd will turn on Bruce? Joelinton, Almiron, Saint Maximin, Mackem Rose and other squad members will be targeted instead. Support the team, not the regime!
  2. Dubravka, Lascelles, Schar, Lejeune, Shelvey, Saint Maximin, Almiron, probably Matty Longstaff too due to his contract.
  3. Think he’s lost the dressing room personally, the way we folded against Arsenal and so toothless against Palace suggests as much. Plus he seems to discard players for little reason, Hayden for instance? Throws his players under the bus every chance he gets, can’t imagine any of them are happy about being publicly hung out to dry, even if they deserve it on some occasions.
  4. He's right about the bigger picture of course, but Bruce is at the very least, presently a huge part of the problem
  5. Would promote Dawson from his work at youth level and manage the senior side until the end of the season Can't be any worse
  6. West Ham say hello. The way we're playing, I think they'll beat us too
  7. Said it weeks ago that we're still likely to get relegated because I don't think we'll win another game this season
  8. Never realized Bruce's esteemed 'man-management' skills basically amounted to him throwing players under the bus every chance he gets.
  9. What on earth is going on at Barcelona? The below was nestled in an article about Messi and his contract "On Monday Cadena Ser Radio reported that Barcelona had paid €1m to hire a company called I3 Ventures which set up online media accounts to write stories defending the president and damage the image of some players and former players. Barcelona denied the accusation, saying that they had hired I3 to “monitor” social media, but not to attack anyone. Faced with further evidence, they ended their relationship with the company and said they would investigate. Bartomeu also met with the club captains." https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/feb/20/messi-barcelona-not-in-shape-to-win-champions-league-but-i-want-to-stay-eric-abidal
  10. Wonderful piece about Atalanta's Champion's League journey "In their maiden Champions League campaign, they became the first team since Newcastle United in 2002-03 to progress from the competition's group phase after losing their first three matches" "Whatever happens, everybody will love this team forever."
  11. I can remember at the start of the season when Charnley was interviewed by that lot and he promised to communicate more with the fanbase. Of course, nothing since then
  12. The way we've been playing, we'd be lucky to get 4-5 points out of all those games.
  13. But didn't see the need to change it until we had no real chance of coming back into the game
  14. At least Bruce has stated repeatedly he's happy with the 0 capable striking options at his disposal
  15. How this complete idiot couldn't tell that Longstaff and Bentaleb were completely chasing shadows all game and put Hayden in far earlier is beyond me Bentaleb was practically walking around the pitch at one point
  16. Predictably this guy is so far off the pace it's unreal. Longstaff and Bentaleb simply cannot be the midfield pairing, so ineffective Wouldn't bother taking the permanent option on the loan at all, even taking into account the lack of match sharpness, can't see what he offers.
  17. Special report in The Independent investigating the financial disparity in football and how it has destroyed the unpredictability of the sport https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/champions-league-superclubs-liverpool-man-utd-barcelona-real-madrid-a9330431.html “We don’t want too many Leicester Citys.” These were the words spoken by a senior figure from the Premier League’s ‘big six’ clubs, in the kind of high-end London hotel you can easily imagine. “A more democratic league would be bad for business.”
  18. What an ambitious vision Charnley projects to the fanbase and competition So small time
  19. The Athletic is well worth the subscription, some fantastic content on there. Also just looking at the plans for that facility, we're so far behind it's unreal.
  20. Newcastle Roma Bayern Munich Barcelona Benfica Ajax FC Tokyo
  21. Feel like I watch a different match to most of our fanbase, we were not 'cruising' by any stretch of the imagination, or even in control. Oxford dominated the game after we scored our second
  22. The sequence of play that led to the foul just perfectly encapsulates his contributions to the team now Lose the ball - Run around like a total loon chasing after the ball out of position - Concede a ridiculous foul Should be one of the first out the door in the summer,
