"Newcastle have avoided defeat in their opening six home PL games for only the fourth time in that competition: 1994/95, 1995/96, 2011/12 and 2022/23." Some stat. Finished top 6 in those former 3 seasons.

He's been Howed a la Joelinton, like. Fair play. I wasn't convinced he should be here based on his output alone. Always grafted his bollocks off. But now he's adding the goals. Brilliant stuff. Hope he keeps it up.

Exactly the type of game and result I was expecting tbf. Good stuff. They're a poor side with the ball. 1 shot and 0 on target in 90 minutes is quite hilarious tbh.

From the Athletic; "At Howe’s insistence, they have invested heavily on their existing training facility, including spending £1m on building and maintaining a new hydrotherapy unit"

Gym then out around 3:30, 4ish to meet my Everton mate from my undergrad course, starting at the Tanners Arms down the Ouseburn. God help me. 3 points today but tough, grim and tight game imo. HTL.

Great passage of play that from Palace tbf.

Aye, was buckled at it

That pass from Freuler Good result for us if Forest can hold on.

Massive surfer in the Leazes it looks like. Looked class there before Liverpool (h) last season. -
Were quite fortunate to get that 1 win as well.

Forest are utter shit.

These poses on the lineup graphics

I've never seen that and can't remember that at all, and I was at that game. 0-4 at home to Spurs with Krul parrying 3 of their goals out for tap ins. ~10 days after losing 0-3 at home to the mackems. Pardew's heady days.
-
A week since their deadline for the TV games, useless bastards. Hope we hear something today.
-
Phew. Hope he hangs until our game on the 29th, Eddie schools him again then they get rid for brummie's sake.
-
I hope so but if they release remakes of retro Adidas stuff like they've done for Arsenal, my personal net worth shrinks by over half.
-
No clean sheet against them at home since 2009. Desperate.
