Staying quiet for YNWA

No we won't be, because he wasn't. And it's on Sunday.

That's mental, whew. Says a lot about COVID era football that I never knew that. Would love to know though how many refs have stuck by their decision after going to the screen from the start of last season though. Michael Oliver the only ref that's done it?
-
Matter of time before we pummel someone at SJP. Bournemouth in 2 weeks when we have our best players back for sure is my shout.

I'll personally never subscribe to the corruption patter but I can see why people believe it given the amount of shit the cuntbag 6 get, can reel off loads against Man City alone that has gone against us in the last decade. But I do think it's sheer incompetence and accountability has to be brought in. Such a howler like what Mason made on Saturday has to render a suspension from refereeing for a period or just a sacking a la managers imo. At the top level you simply cannot make such a gargantuan error on game changing scenarios such as a goals like Saturday and when the evidence is all there to see and you're the only person in the world along with a few wankers who support Palace that don't think that that was a goal, I'm sorry. Get to fuck. The referee (who was fucking shite anyhow btw) who is new to the PL has had pressure put on by a senior referee to see a similar view. The on field referee and his assistants originally gave the goal, same with the on field referees for the West Ham goal, so less pressure from VAR or more assertiveness from on field refs is required. To achieve that though big reform is needed in regard to how VAR is operated and how they train on field referees. I don't think Howard Webb coming back in will change this any way way though so I'm not holding my breath.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
HaydnNUFC replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Leicester/Rodgers have pissed a lot of money up the wall; Vestergaard, Soumare, Perez, Praet. They have a sub-standard keeper, lost their best CB, Tielemans wants away, we've been sniffing around Maddison who has been moved to RM to accomodate Dewsbury-Hall and the manager has more or less blamed the fans after today. If Rodgers is sacked tomorrow I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. But who can they get? Their finances are fucked, are downsizing the squad and their better players either want away or are too old (ie Vardy, Evans) and there seems to be apathy throughout that club now. Just totally stale. I would be surprised if Maddison extends his contract, like. -
Personally don't ever want the stadium name touched just so we can get half of the fee for a decent midfielder.

Done and thought the same. Should've won regardless of the robbery and that's without our 3 best players against a decent enough Palace side. Bodes well for next week and Bournemouth (h). The commentators though when VAR was looking at the goal and disallowed it honestly am finding it mental that our fans knew there was nothing wrong with it, the Palace fans can see it, the Palace players, our players, the commentators and countless neutrals but those fucking twats who are paid to get these decisions correct are the only ones who couldn't. On field refs need to grow a pair also, I think. They have their own pairs of eyes and own brains to be able to look at the footage and say to the VAR 'actually mate, I don't think that's a foul/goal/red card'. Over the years since VAR has been introduced to the PL we've had refs hardly ever going to the screen to have a look, now they look at the screen for every decision even at times when the decision that has to be made is glaringly obvious and 999/1000 they overturn the original decision even though they're their own person and ref and can make their own judgement from the footage to stick with their own decision. The refs yesterday originally saw nothing wrong with the goal, nor did Mitchell or any single one of the Palace players. Fuck it all.

Class subs from Arteta.
-
Not since 1984. Mental.
-
What a ball by Fernandes.
-
It's alright lads. There's "lessons to be had". Too bad of the 2 extra points they're ostensibly admitting we were robbed of, eh? Fucking cunts.
-
Unreal. Should be 6-2. Leicester are utter wank, dear me.
-
Soulless fucking garbage. Get rid of it.
-
Why are the sending the ref to the screen for an offside? The fuck?
-
Absolute thundercunt. Ahh fuck off VAR
-
Leicester are dogshit. Mental decline from where they were 2-3 years ago.
-
Maddison's fault there but Thomas didn't even bother tracking the runner. So shit.
-
Had a night out after the game so was able to forget about it by 6pm, now woke up hanging and annoyed again. What's baffling to me is us as fans can see it, the Palace fans can see it, the neutrals can see it, the players know it but the referees can't. It's a fucking disgrace. If that goal is given we win that game 1-0 as they were fucking shit. When they're sent over to the screen they always overturn decisions. Why? Why can't the on field referee, who is his own person and has his own brain, not look at that and say to the VAR "actually mate I don't think that's a foul, Willock is pushed". Cunts. How many times this season, man.
-
Aye, hound that horrid cunt Willock out. Get proper British players in like white 1 good pass in 5 staff. Phwaaa.
-
Fucking wank officiating costing us again. Fucking sick of it, regardless of Isak's chance which he should've scored.

Howay Everton. Especially now that that Spirit of the Blues song is stuck in my head.
