Maddison I'd say. Would love for us to try for Diaby again, would've/would be the perfect wide player for us.

Very fair points which I agree with.

One thing I was thinking about when wondering about the bigger picture is how many clubs have we now moved beyond in terms of ambition and squad quality? We lack in depth but some of the clubs we could only really aspire to be like under Ashley since we returned to the PL in 2017 like Everton, Leicester, Wolves; do we have a better starting XI than those now, when everyone is fit? Everton certainly, Leicester perhaps given what's been going on there this summer and the state of them so far, Wolves probably to a far lesser extent but they do look toothless. West Ham we'll be competing with this season so probably not them yet. Just mad how much it's all changed.

Now the window has closed, edited mine.

State of Ronaldo. Should just turn himself in now tbh.

Can see that Villa game being El Sackico like Spurs v Man Utd in October last season was

Going through his posts, he only ever implied that once.

Was always positive about the takeover and got Bruce going right tbf.

8/10 for me. We've addressed the main striker issue by breaking the club record transfer fee for Isak who from last night looked quality. Keeps Wood away from the pitch in place of Wilson and can play together with Wilson too. Botman looks quality and will only improve. Well beyond his years. Happy with Targett, solid LB who was brilliant for us last season. Pope is a vast upgrade on Dubravka also and has looked really solid. The missing 2/10 is due to the lack of a real RW and a CM. RW is an issue for us imo because as useful as Almiron and Fraser are they're not going to top 10 goal involvements a season. Murphy is not good enough and I don't see Isak as being the RW. The CM or DM I always thought would be sorted medium term, ie January or next summer. Regardless of that, going off our performances so far and looking at our upcoming 7 fixtures I'm really excited for this season more than I probably ever have been in my life before. We have our best players to come back also in that run.

You got it right eventually.

Can't wait till that cunt dies, like.

Just a shame the bottle wasn't glass and didn't hit one of their cunts tbh.

Doubt it.

No idea, presumably to further promote an anti LFC agenda which is fair enough really.

Did feel earlier in the window that CM/DM was something we'd look at medium term, either in January or next summer. Only thing I've got a downer about is the lack of RW, you could argue Isak is that but I see him as a striker that keeps Wood out of league starting XIs which we had to sort rather than a winger. Moussa Diaby or Jack Harrison would've been brilliant upgrades, especially the former, but we'll probably have to wait until we reach Europe to prise the likes of those two away. But I am very happy with the window overall since we got Isak. Watching him last night and looking at our upcoming fixtures with our best players to come back in soon has me hella excited.

Delewdid jawdee here but I think we should be looking at winning all of our next 4 home games; Palace, Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton. A draw at West Ham, look to beat Fulham, free hit at Old Trafford. Job's a goodun. We have our best players to come back in during that run as well, may have a full squad to pick from for Bournemouth (h).

That's a fake quote. He didn't say that.

No idea what the Scouse obsession with ball in play times in our games has come from. PR masterstroke from the jorman Harold Shipman here, all talk about us rather than how poor Liverpool were/are on the night. But to entertain that fucking bilge for a second longer than I need to; Forest (h): We had 61% possession and were the better side. Brighton (a): Was played in over 30 degree heat and had water breaks. Man City (h): Any team outside the big 6 home or away v Man City will have less possession and try and waste time, but we were brilliant and deserved a result from an outstanding side. Wolves (a): Wolves were the side who were time wasting, we had 64% possession and were chasing the game until we equalised in the 90th minute. Liverpool (a): Underdog away at a great side and ground we haven't won at since 1995, 3rd away game in a week, 3 of our best players out, of course we're going to manage the game and try to eat up as many seconds as we can. Any other side would. We didn't see it out and lost, so what. Such a fixation on it; like I say, PR masterstroke from those vile, horrid cunts.

It's not real. (assuming this is about the supposed Howe quote on the offside)

Surely the only reason we've rejected anything for Wood is due to limited time left to get another striker in as well as if we fail to get another striker we'd be only left with Isak as the only striker at the club that can be relied on to actually get on the pitch more than 25 times a season. Wilson can't.
